Yeah, i caught that, i was just emphasizing that i believed it to be underrated.

I (and others here) tend to favor the offbeat type films...

It was said but I don't think Platoon or Full Metal Jacket was.

Back to the Future, Caddyshack or Road House is it for me. I'm going to give the edge to Road House because an oiled up shirtless Patrick Swazye gets it done for me. It was on last night.

I haven't seen Midnight Run on any lists.

I don't want to get another phone call like this, or I'm gonna stab you through the heart with a fucking pencil.

Sir, that must mean Walsh has your identification...!

When's the last time you had a chest X-ray?

Yeah, well here comes two words for you, shut the fuck up.

YOU LIED TO ME FIRST!

He doesn't like to FLY?? What the fuck does that mean??? Listen, you better have him back here in THREE DAYS, A HALF MILLION DOLLARS OF MY MONEY, WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON??!!?

Also Color of Money is always an underrated film. It's too easily dismissed as a Cruise vehicle or as a sub-par sequel to a classic, but in its own right it's really a good film.

Yeah the movie's pretty dated but there's still some good parts in there. I like near the beginning when Micheal Keaton tries to explain things to the workers by talking about Rocky.

a couple of my favorite movies from the 80's were on friday night..."Glory" and the aforementioned "Brazil".

i also have to throw in the charles band's empire pictures & full moon features classics like "puppet master", "ghoulies", "troll", "reanimator", "from beyond", among others. they shaped my childhood...

I LOVED Midnight Run. That was one of the funniest, underrated movies I have seen. Charles Grodin & Robert DeNiro made a great team. Dennis Farina was great, too.

Rocky 2 was better. Kudos for staying and watching it twice.

It seems hard to believe, but "Purple Rain" is now 25 years old. I bet you didn't know that even though Prince won an Oscar for its soundtrack, there was a sex scene that could've made that 1984 film "X" rated.
