Did Tommy suffer an injury while Tweeting Mel?

Sprained thumb, STU. 4 to 6 weeks (or to the end of training camp whichever comes first) on the shelf.

I think Urlacher & Cutler should meet at the FBI Gun Range.
I bet Carlos Zambrano could kick both their asses!

Urlacher is one of the biggest tools in Sports. A real dick.
I dont care what he thinks of Jay Cutler.
Jay will be here for 10 more years, Brian has maybe 1 or 2 left.
If the Bears were smart, they would trade Urlacher for either a DB or a WR.

Urlacher is a dick because he thinks most members of the media are douchbags and wont talk to them? Who gives a shit. His play has slipped part due to injuries and part of bad scheming. Having to fake blitz on every damn play then sprint back in coverage is not what made him have the great years he did. He needs to line up, have the d line keep the o line off of him and be what he used to be. I dont care if he is a dick, or a tool, as long as he goes back to being a top tier MLB.
Oh, and fuck what a terrible receiver for the vikings has to say. A lot of defensive guys and offensive guys on teams dont get along. Want drama and back stories? Watch figure skating.
And Mac loves this shit because he hates Urlacher, that is why when he starts this I PTFB.

Great Post! I'll just add what I mentioned a week or so ago. Since Ted Washington & Keith Traylor left the D-Line,that big push and consistent run stoppage has not been there. That is when Brian was free to roam.

C'mon .... Traylor and Washington were only a memory when Url lead this team to the Super Bowl. That's revisionist history.

Robbie Gould making CLUTCH kicks against Seattle in the playoffs got the Bears in the Super Bowl. That & Grossman having his "punt" picked out of the air by Bernard Berrian in the same game at the Seattle Goal Line.

1) Urlacher was the biggest reason the Bears sucked at the cover 2 Defense last year.
2) Cover 2 put a huge burden of responsibility on the middle linebacker being able to drop back into covereage...and he was bad at it last year.
3) He missed more tackles than anyone on the Bears last year, and he was tentative with all of his neck problems and all.
4) I would dump Urlacher before he is finished while we can get something for him, then move Briggs to ML.

1a) Except for the safeties and cornerbacks and the defensive line generally being attrocious at pass rushing, then yes he was the top reason.

2a) One year vs. a career does not a scientific sampling make ... plus he's apparently on the gas again so that should help.

3a) What's the ratio of missed tackles to made tackles to attempted tackles? And you have no idea if he was tentative or not - you are not him and thus can't know what he's thinking. Stick to facts, not unfounded and unverifiable suppositions.

4a) A dopey statement given its general nature. Not going to "dump him" because that costs cap money ... and you're not going to get a dog's dick in trade for him because nobody ever gets value back in a trade in the NFL - for whatever reason, it just doesn't happen. Oh, and btw, let's just shitcan Lance as our only real dangerous player within 5 yards from scrimmage and put him in a position where he backpedals away from his strengths all day. :thumleft:

Now being reported Brian denies EVERYTHING in a Tribune story.

Not being reported: Bears PR attempts more lame than Stephen Hawking.
