Gotta love being in this division. It's tough to get out of this race. Tigers lose their 2nd straight tonight.

Going into tonight's games, the Tigers, Sox and Twins had all lost 6 of their last 10.

This team is soooooooo fucking aggravating.

We can blame the D all we want but the true blame falls on Kenny's shoulders. He can't/won't field a team that can win anywhere at anytime. He fields mediocre players because either he is constrained by Reinsdorf or he isn't as brilliant as he portrays himself to be.

The "Pay No Mind" list is rearing its' ugly head.....

The Ranger just announced two things on the SCORE/White Sox Radio Network postgame show:

1. 3B/1B Joshua Fields has been optioned to Triple "AAA" Charlotte to accommodate 1B/OF Mark Kotsay, who joins the White Sox tomorrow in Minnesota.

2. Jose Contreras starts the Twins' game tomorrow instead of Bartolo Colon, due to a new injury involving his elbow. The Sox have not announced who will start the Yankees series Thursday, believed to be vs. lefty Andy Pettitte.

Gotta love those out of no where "new" injuries. Funny how Colon gets one after Richard throws back to back 8 inning, 1-run games.

I think it's safe to say that the White Sox can no longer trust Bartolo Colon...Ozzie said a couple days ago that he felt the Twins would run all over Contreras, prompting the original decision to move Jose back to start the 4-game series vs. the Yankees Thursday night. According to whitesox.com, the Sox will be dealing with ex-Cub Sergio Mitre Friday night vs. Gavin Floyd at "The Cell", A.J. Burnett Saturday afternoon vs. John Danks in the Joe Buck/Tim McCarver/Ken Rosenthal "FOX Saturday Baseball" feature, and a likely battle of lefties Sunday with Mark Buehrle & C.C. Sabathia Sunday. C.C. got beat up like a government mule tonight, and Nick Swisher (remember him, Sox fans?) misplayed a couple of balls in right field this eve to boot as the Yankees lost to the Rays in St. Pete.

Nice, ROY is hiting 2nd tonight. It's about time Ozzie started taking my advice. Hopefully he's there to stay.

Just tuned in to see the Twins move a runner in with two outs.

Maybe it's not that bad. His cleat didn't get totally stuck where all the force was on his ankle or leg. The cleat did pop out as he rolled. Maybe it's just a sprain.

Alexei landed awkwardly on that FieldTurf surface trying to break up a double play in the top half of this inning. When I think of that awful surface, I remember a certain ex-Bears' QB that hurt his knee on that same surface a few years ago...You know who it was...

The much-maligned Rex Grossman hurt his knee on that same FieldTurf surface about 4 years ago on a touchdown with about 2 minutes to go. Hopefully, Ramirez's injury isn't as bad as Grossman's was...

The White Sox have 3 more games on this miserable surface! It comes at the end of a really tough 10 game road trip that ends August and starts September, with 4 at Fenway vs. the A.L. Wildcard-leading Red Sox in Boston, 3 more with the Yankees at their new $1 billion ballpark in the Bronx leading up to it...

Top of the 9th coming up, and Joe Nathan hopes to save this one for Minnesota, still leading 3-2.

Beckham singled & Konerko walked with DeWayne Wise running for Paulie...Dye & Chris Getz both struck out in between, and Mark Kotsay lined out to end it as the Twins sweep the Sox 3-2...They may have also lost Alexei in the process. An update is coming up...

The Sox may have also lost Alexei Ramirez, even though Sun-Times/SCORE insider Joe Cowley claims the shortstop did get up under his own power and left the field in the middle 7th after what appears to be a turned ankle on that awful FieldTurf!

Shark, I want your cracker self to update me on Alexei's injury. When the Sox lose I don't watch sports shows or look to sports sites on the net. I only look at this board.

So it's your job to get me that info. Don't let me down.
