Shark, I want your cracker self to update me on Alexei's injury. When the Sox lose I don't watch sports shows or look to sports sites on the net. I only look at this board.

So it's your job to get me that info. Don't let me down.

I'll do the best I can, Beardown...Joe Cowley's likely to give the Ranger a call during the "Comcast Feedback Zone Postgame" next on 670 The SCORE & the Chicago White Sox Radio Network for an Alexei update.

Good. You work on that. Sox post game on the radio is misery after a loss. I haven't listened to one all year.

I'm gonna watch internet porn now. I'll check back every 10 minutes to see your updates.

On this road trip, Keyser, I think the White Sox scored 5 runs ONLY once on the whole road trip! Winning baseball, it definitely wasn't. Up next, Andy Pettitte and a Yankees' team that's been smokin' hot since the All-Star Break, and thanks to the schedule, it's the first time they'll be dealing with the Yanks all year.

The Ranger reports that Alexei Ramirez was walking around the dugout after he left the field in the 7th inning landing awkwardly trying to break up a double play. He seems to think Alexei may have twisted his ankle when a spike got caught on that FieldTurf surface. It looked scary when it happened, but I won't be shocked if Jayson Nix plays shortstop & Chris Getz at second base tomorrow night vs. Andy Pettitte and the Yankees at "The Cell".

There may be yet another injury, as the Ranger adds that Carlos Quentin may have re-aggravated his left heel problem after he hit his 9th homer. CQ was able to finish the game, but just what the White Sox DON'T NEED!

Alexei Ramirez sprained his right ankle, and is on crutches, the Ranger said on the "Comcast Feedback Zone Postgame Show" moments ago on 670 The SCORE & the Chicago White Sox Radio Network. He'll be re-evaluated tomorrow, the Ranger adds.

The Ranger mentioned a short time ago that Alexei sprained his right ankle and was on crutches. I'm fearing the worst, and with talk that Joshua Fields, now at Triple "AAA" Charlotte, could be dealt before the trading deadline, could there be a Brent Lillibridge sighting this weekend at "The Cell"? I'm not sure who could be recalled if Alexei is put on the disabled list...I think Jayson Nix will likely start tomorrow night vs. Pettitte & the Yankees and play shortstop for the immediate future if Alexei is out for a lengthy time.

Good job, Shark. There are different degrees of sprains. Could be 2 weeks. Could be 2 months depending on how bad it is and if it's a high sprain or a low sprain.

As the radio voice of the White Sox, Ed Farmer always says, "He's like the rest of us...Day to day." I'm just fearing the worst given that awful surface and that he caught his spike trying to break up a double play in the top 7th, Beardown.

This had nothing to do with the "surface". He slid on the dirt cut out. Not the turf. It's dirt like dirt anywhere else in MLB. Dome or no dome.

Losing again to the Twins, has dropped the Sox back to .500 into 3rd place, now 3 full games behind Detroit and a game behind the Twins. The slide since the Perfecto continues....

This post reminds me of most of your calls you make to radio shows. There is information there, but it is well known, with no actual insight, and in general pointless.

You are forgetting about the time he broke the news that the cubs claimed Pods off the waiver wire!!!

Not my fault the Sox never updated the post. On their site it had a picture of Pods with the caption "Cubs claim Pods off waivers Friday" with no date attached to it. Who would guess that the team would fail to remove/update the post that was 2 years old? It read as if it was current news and the way teams put players on waivers to ascertain interest in their players by other teams, and with Quentin coming back off the D.L. it seemed plausible. Hell, the Score's producers checked the site themselves to verify the accuracy of what I was talking about BEFORE the call was put through. It's the Sox screw-up on that.

Douchebag posted it was a story from 2007 yet you STILL went on B&B because you had a little cubbie hard on and wanted to play junior reporter. You wanted to impress B&B and you turned out making a giant ass out of yourself (even bigger than usual).
