Don't get me wrong, i think that Mac's show is the best on the Score despite what people on here say about Meatpants. It seems as though the boys are hitting their stride with football season on the horizon. One thing i have noticed with the show is that they take very few calls, any reason why?? DO they want to save all of the meatballs for B & B??

i think the time of the day is a part, too. most are workin' 9-1. and even if you're a slacker... so much easier and time efficient to snap off an e-mail or a text (or a wrister).

Radio Roulette would be a lot riskier, and possible a lot more entertaining on this show.

Seems as though the fanboys (and girls) that hang on your every word
and post are perfectly willing & capable of calling in whether they are working or not.
Both the Hampton/Holmes Show and the Murph show took PLENTY of calls. 9-1, 10-2. What's the difference?
I think that the real reason you don't take as many calls is that you're too busy
enjoying the sound of your own voice to come up for air and let someone else talk about how awesome you are.

I realize my opinion won't be popular with some of the posters I respect
on this board, but I can't continue to abide what I feel is a grab-assy,
self-congratulating shtick disguising itself as a 4 hour radio talk show.
While I was never a MJH fan, the few times over the years that I listened, I thought
the reasons why I wasn't a fan had mostly to do with your former co-hosts. Now while I can't stand your current co-host either,
I think YOU are the problem I have with your show. You don't always have to be ON. The CONSTANT back-slapping
nicknamey, or even worse, LASTNAMEY routine, i.e. SPIEGS, SCOTTY PODS, TINY ONE, GOOD KID shit just irritates the shit out of me.
Do you even realize how many times you utter the word "SPIEGEL" just between 11-1 which is when I've listened?
Have "The Unaffordable One" count tomorrow. It's insane. And very annoying. You know who constantly refers to
people by their last name or nick name? FRAT BRAH DOUCHEBAGS, that's who. Grown men don't talk like this.
But I understand it's all part of the Mackey package. I'm not sold. I gave it a shot, but I'm done.

I'm coming from the otherside. Very seldom listened while you were on 'MVP,I do try to listen now,though. I do not like constant sports chatter. Too much of anything is not good. That is why I enjoy your show. Talking movies,TV & Pop culture is a good mix.

Even the fearless leader, who used to be receptive to honest criticism, has become thin-skinned as people point out the countless flaws with his current product.
