Jeez, it's about time. This guy was doing NOTHING for the team. Why the hell Hendry decided to release McGehee and keep Hasselhoff I will never know. McGehee is 3 years younger and can play two positions (2B, 3B) the cubs desparetely needed this season. Hasselhoff is nothing but a AAAA player without a position. This move is long overdue.

I like the move. The guy needs more at bats to be sharp. A week or two and he will be sharp and prepared to contribute more down the stretch. Besides, its just a few wekks till rosters expand and he will be back then, if not before. But he needed this, to get more playing time/at bats.
