Tonight when Bradley was out at second, because he didnt run hard out of the box, I have never heard Brenly get as pissed as he did tonight! He was calling for cattle prods for the 1st and 3rd base coaches to get guys to run hard.

Showing the replay of Theriot loafing to home plate as well. Brenly is pissed!

Would like for Lou to actually show this shit to the whole team and embarass some these guys and show how it almost cost them a run.

Stone will never be acquitted for being a dick! However, Hendry, McDonough, etc should have backed him in that issue, but they didn't then they made his life crappy enough for him to walk away so he can keep telling everyone he wasnt fired.

I LOVE Brenly as a broadcaster but his talents are being wasted sitting in that booth. He belongs in a dugout managing a major league team.

YES. He knows the team, and has gone from the booth to Championships before. He has become increasingly irritated with this current team. He has been laying into Soriano for being Soriano on multiple occasions. I'm not saying he's the answer, talent that wants to win is the answer. But, he could be a great skipper for the Cub.

I think Lou is done after this season. Did you see him begging in the 9th last night? He's living and dying with every game. He's definitely not the same guy that came here 3 years ago.

I think Sandberg is the next cub manager but there should be plenty of job openings this offseason for Brenly. LaRussa's contract runs out after the season and there's talk St Louis may let him walk. There could also be job openings in Cincy, Houston, NYM, Washington,Cleveland and Oakland. All of these teams would be smart to give Brenly a long look as their next manager.

I am a big Ryno guy, but he is not ready to be manager. Brenly needs to be the next guy.

Ozzie never managed a team before he took over the Sox and I'm pretty sure Lou never managed before he took over the Yanks. Sandberg had a 15 year playing career and has managed 3 years in the minors. He's ready.

Ozzie also was on the bench of a major league team before he took over the hot seat. I would be in favor of Sandberg as a bench coach on Brenly's staff.

I would be interested in seeing how Brenley or Sandberg would try to handle this team. I would LOVE to see the manager DEMAND that guys like Soriano and Bradley lay down a bunt in situations that call for moving a runner on base. I would LOVE to see a manager that DEMANDS that players hustle on defense and have their heads in the game and not make stupid mental errors (forget how many outs there are for example) and run the bases better. I think Lou is too easy on these guys and they take advantage of it. But would either be an improvement? or would they try to be on good terms with guys who have multiple years on guaranteed contracts and NOT be any different? I'm not sure. What I am sure of, is Lou has guided this team to back to back N.L. Central division titles and has them in the thick of it again. No way, would I make a change now. If a change is to be made, it should be in the winter. Then Brenly, Sandberg or whomever else might take the job, could have the team through an entire spring training and be better prepared to manage them.

Yeah Darko, there is no doubt his playing days were marked by a lack of leadership, but he's really come around since then. I think you'd be impressed by his leadership skills of late. His teams do well.

What the hell makes you say this?? Because he didn't dive for balls, but stayed on his feet instead and still had the range to win gold gloves and set a record (at that time) for errorless games)? The guy came up big against great pitchers and was an MVP. He wasn't very demonstrative and certainly wasn't a great quote for the members of the media, but where do you get this crap?
