Wells did not look good today they should have pitched him tomorrow, Hill looking good and good ole #1 not looking shabby either.
Question is why can't they do something with men in scoring position? Plus the stupid fielding, I can hear Santo yelling in my ear.

Can we somehow have someone with power please ban this assclown from this section. It is bad enough when the Cubs lose but to have to endure this morons pathetic diatribe makes my day even worse. Really do Cub fans do this kinda shit in the Sox section? Let me know because as I do not follow that team I have never been there.

Yes, and there are far more "regulars" in the Sox section who are Cubs fans who come to do the same stuff.

Yes.

relax, you're a Cubs fan, you should be used to being a loser and taking a lot of shit. No reason to start crying about it now.

I also am a Redskin and Blackhawk fan so I know pain. Sorry but I should have put this at the end so you all would not be so serious

I don't think that is really true, it seems to me to be a fair amount of both in both sections. I enjoy both teams and hope both do well, just happen to like the Cubs a little more.

i agree, RFDC. i don't know that there's far more...elmhurst steve usually dominates the "meatball cub fan" persona in that section; bigfan contributes a lot into it too, but i can only think of 2 or 3 other people at most that do it.

if you mention spanky, you're giving him far too much credit than he deserves.

Here is a stat for you guys.

On Saturday, for the first time since July 30th, the Cubs had a RBI from the 5th spot in the batting order. The Milton Bradley trade seems to be paying off.

This thread is four pages long, and over 50% of the the replies are from Cubs fans and it doesn't even include the dumbest Cub fan on the board in Elmhurst Steve.

I don't see that happening to any threads in the Cubs section.

Sorry, I forgot the link.

i told you, spanky doesn't count. mr. reason can't be taken seriously, and darkside has admitted he doesn't hate the sox.

i've seen worse from panther pisIa and shakes; i don't count good dolphin and frank cos i know both of them are exaggerating their positions for their own jollies.

i'm not saying cubs fans are not guilty of it but i don't agree that there's far more *real* vitriol going on from cubs fans.

Of course it doesn't have anything from me. It's about attendance....yawn. Thats generally something that most people find boring. Lets face it, I like going over to the Sox threads to stir things up. I will try to use stats and facts to support whatever theories/conclusions/opinions I might want to express and usually it will not be one that expresses optimism about the chances of the Sux or their direction. It's fun and thats what the board is all about-having fun. I express my misgivings here about some things about the Cubs too. I hated the Bradley signing, can't stand Soriano, Hate Aaron Miles with a passion...so it's not just over there, that I express negatives about a team. I just don't express many positives over there either...except about Beckhams hitting. That guy is special and I will not try to say different. But fortunately for me, there is plenty of things that I can be critical about, where the Sux are concerned.

Same with me and the Cubs.

And 5 runs on 19 hits is absolutely pathetic and unacceptable. But just keep rooting for the M's, Steve.

Actually it was 17 hits, not 18 or 19 as you keep increasing it to.

[meatball]
The Sox only got 4 runs off 10 hits and 1 walk! Pathetic!

The Sox only had 11 baserunners while the Cubs had 17! Pathetic!
[/meatball]

You're boring Image

I sure hope Gorzellany can give the Cubs a performance like his first start with the club. Of course the Rockies are a better hitting squad than the Reds, so that won't be easy.

He's all the way back from his injury and back to the player he was before it. That guy just kills the ball.

Do you know what day I'm really looking forward to? The day Jimmy Hendry finally pays the price for offering up to us this bloated, craptastic fartfest he has put together.

I'm really going to like that day.

I hope it's coming really, really soon.

Correctamundo. See what happens when the Cubs face a powder puff squad as opposed to a real MLB team?
