After not playing a single game for the last four days (yes, you read that right), I'm planning on devoting this entire weekend to Oblivion...

i'm in the beginning stages still of COD4 since i haven't had a lot of time to play it. it's fun but i'm so effin' rusty with shooter games (haven't played one since halo 2 back in 06) that i'm really sucking it up...i am at the lowest possible level and i'm still pretty early in the game.

in other words, i am not going to be getting LIVE! any time soon. besides, i don't have an outlet in my room...don't know if it's even possible. but i was not about to give up on xbox and go PS3. i think i'm still more comfortable with xbox's controls.

Did anyone else here get Madden?

I have 360. Alot of the guys that I play online with have 360 and we are running the franchise mode online. Should be fun.

Well since I'm late gettin into this generation of games I just picked up Gears of War for some pocket change. Can't wait to check it out later tonight

After playing the demo for Madden 10, I've decided not to purchase it. As lipid also said, there are too many other games coming out this fall that I will want to play more anyway.

Just beat Gears of War. It was alot shorter than I thought it would be. Guess I'll stop by GameStop or Game Crazy and pick up another older game I've missed out on

Went back through Half Life 2 episode 2 to try to bring the little gnome through from the radio shack to the rocket ship. Fucking impossible. Also, when the hell does episode 3 come out, I need more half life again.

Not impossible...I got the achievement to prove it...but definately frustrating as hell...especially when you have to drive the car...

I'm still sticking to my belief that we will never see an episode three and instead will simply get Half Life 3...

Either way, I just need more half-life. I still contend the first one was better overall, but Ive really warmed up to the second one.

Really? If you can still find a system to play it, Half Life 1 and System Shock 2 are highly recommended to play in your basement, at night and with the lights off.

i think the first was great, but i'm liking the second one. i don't know what you have against it. the gameplay is good and the story is interesting.
