Are we all just starting the weekend early or what? I know I can't wait. Longest week ever. Come to Aurora, The Foundry, drinks some brews and bet on some ponies with the TINY ONE after the show.

Slow here too. I have some catch up work I'm doing, but I'd rather just go home at this point and play ncaa 07

Boredom kills. I'm watching it rain outside and I don't want to start any new projects today. It's either this or a nap.

:D

Gotta love an afternoon at TribCo with nothing going on cause weekend print deadlines have past.

Now if only it would stop raining so that I don't get drenched at my second concert this week tonight...

takin the girlfriend down to Soldier Field for her birthday so she can drool over Bon Jovi, and I can enjoy Nickelback.

Wednesday nights drenching was on the lawn down at Tinley having my skin crawl as the White Sox Nation went nuts when Journey played "Don't Stop Believin". Def Leppard kicked some 80's ass though.

Yeah I was serious in that post over in the other thread. What's wrong with Nickleback? I mean, before they started putting out the same album over and over again.......

I was there too, 5th row. I went in with low expectations, and ended up having a great time. I did choke up a little when Journey played DSB, and the Leppard's did kick ass. I wasn't expecting much after I heard them on VH1 rock honors recently, but they brought it.

The only Nickelback song I even kinda like is the one about the guy that beats his family.

To illustrate Doug's point (I think) a link just sent to me by a co-worker. Like I said, early Nickelback was good. Then they released the same song over..and over.... and over....... (shaking head) downright sad at how this sounds......

Any "rock" band that's on a Now That's What I Call Music compilation you can keep.
