This season is "OFFICIALLY OVER" I said so!

My last straw was this SD / LA trip in which we needed to win in SD while STL lost in LA. Seemed reasonable to be able to continue hope. Instead we have now last 2 more games.

This team has shown Zero heart all year, why would anyone think they will start now?

If it happens great, I will give Lou all the credit in the world for one of the best finishes in Chicago sports history!

Agreed BF. I told the Cards fans at work a few weeks ago to enjoy the playoffs; that this Cubs team had a bad vibe to it and it was going to be 04 all over again.

What an absolute piss poor return on a 100 whatever million dollar spending spree.

If Lou's name was Dusty Baker, he would have been sent packing already. Except Hendry has pissed away so much money, they can't afford to fire Lou. I'm sure they are hoping he'll just walk away.

After this weekend the Cubs should go 14-3 over their next 17. They are digging themselves a deep hole right now. Not sure if going 14-3 will do them any good. Will have to see how the teams ahead of them do before I declare them dead.
