Doesn't it matter if the Giants have an opening drive of 6:oo minutes for a FG

Offense looking real good. Cutler looking for Bennett a lot. Olsen too.

Bennett looks really good this game, Forte doing his thing. So far so good.

Bennett's looking real dam good so far.

Cutlers poise is something the Bears havent had in a long time, the throw to Olsen would never had been made with Orton/Grossman, good to see.

Forte=good

Offense looks very good early...very similar to how i run it on madden...which is nice. Tackling issues are still there for the d. Oh and Cutler to Bennett = Montana to Rice and Forte looks Bo-like Alex Brown makes plays

Its funny you say that, I don't know if its because I bought Madden for the first time in 7 years, or because the Bears have Cutler, but I am into every play like never before, wanting to break down what each player is doing.

And on Madden, you're right....I run a lot of PA Floods and Shotguns with Forte as the checkdown and it works a ton....I believe they just scored the TD with a PA Flood with Desmond Clark wide open.

Everything looks very good, and the second game is marginally more important than the first game, but still, this shouldn't be blown out of proportion, just like the 1st game shouldn't have.

At least for the next week we don't have to hear about Cutler and Hester, even though Hester missed that wide open pass. He pulled up when he should have kept in stride.

I am flipping tweeen this and Redskins vs Pitt. Both games are looking good.
Bears looking okay so far and Skins not looking like dogmeat so my night is going well so far.

I honestly think that Hester was caught off guard by how far the ball went. It traveled 60+ yards in the air while he was on the run.

Hester and Bennett both looked pretty good, that play notwithstanding. Lots of hand catches rather than body catches.

Indeed. I had kinda forgotten how good he is. He really does a ton for this offense.

I think it's safe to say Jay Cutler put the Buffalo preseason game in the rearview mirror, and with the likes of Matt Forte & Greg Olsen playing tonight vs. the Giants, the Bears' offense was clicking on all cylinders in the second preseason game. Hopefully it's a sign of things to come...

The defense has taken a lot of shots (deservedly so) this preseason, but they have played very well tonight.

Yeah. Good signs from Alex Brown and Ogunleye. They'll need to step up.

Very happy with this game tonight - the offense looked productive.

And how different the Giants will be this year without Plax... its all on Jacobs shoulders for them this year. (And Jacobs murdered, Afalava, Urlacher twice, and Alex Brown - that guy is a beast!!)

Could Bennet work as #1?

Maybe so. He could prove to be that guy. One thing I do know is Hester isn't a #1 and never will be. I'm not even sure he will ever be good enough to be a #2.

Ideally, he would be their #3. I don't ever see him getting off of jams. The thing is, they're already paying him close to #1 money. My guess is that's why they haven' really gone out to get a legit #1 yet. They don't want to put that much money into that position when they've already sunk so much into other areas.

Cutler and the receivers looked good. If Cutler can ever figure out how not to make the terrible throw he seems to make 1 out of 10 passes he could be a top 5 qb.

It is hard to judge the receivers though because the Giants were missing four starters including two linebackers, a cornerback, and a safety.
