And he doesn't even have Brandon Marshall yet.

That left handed pass was pretty dumb, but on fourth down it was basically a hail mary.

Now we have 2 people that if Cutler loses 47=42 for the Bears and Orton wins 10-7 for the Broncos will be saying that we should have kept Orton.

Note I doubt you posted about his performance last week.

I would never say that assuming Cutler played well.

I never hid the fact that Orton played bad. He did. In another thread, I said he deserved to be booed in a scrimmage because he threw two picks too.

Do you really think anyone needs me to tell them that Orton played bad in the first preseason game? However, it still is the preseason and I'm not going to get too worked up about it either way. I'll judge Orton on the games that count.

By the way, how's Rex doing in Texas?

no my point was his play is horrible. so what if you complete a string of easy passes, one of which a screen with a team that knows how to run a screen.

none of it matters if you get into the redzone and THROW WITH YOUR LEFT FUCKING HAND. he looked like a girl. cutler would have got 7 points out of that drive, orton throws left handed which isnt that much worse then his right.

Should Orton and Simms be fighting for the starting job, instead of Orton being handed the job? Why shouldn't you get worked up for preseason? Wasn't this one of your beefs with Grossman, that he was just handed the starting QB job without competition. Seems like the same scenario is happening with Orton, or am I missing something?

They should be battling it out. I'd have no problem with a QB competition in camp. If Chris Simms, who has played 4 games in 3 years can beat out Orton then I'm all for him starting over him. I don't see it happening though.
Also, my beef with Grossman was that he was handed the starting job for 5 straight seasons in Chicago. I wouldn't have pulled Grossman after one bad preseason game either.
