I gotta go with this shit ass Cubs team. Betcha Lou wishes he could cash in that contract for next year and retire! What a bunch of stiffs this team is. Especially Fontenot, Heilman and Miles. At least Lou is making Gregg pitch the 9th!

I really can't watch anymore baseball in Chicago this year. :x I'm jumpin' on the Phils bandwagon.

I'll be interested in seeing some of the young pitchers they bring up in September. But for now, this team is not worthy of the time. At least the Cardinals played well enough the last month so as to put enough distance between themselves and the Cubs, that there is no false hope. Sux fans still hang onto some hope for a division crown/playoff birth. Although with consecutive losses in Beantown, that hope is fading fast. As bad as the Cubs have underachieved, they are 62-61 at this point. The Sux are 63-63, but have the good fortune of playing in a division where just 1 team is actually over .500 and just 9 games over, while the Cardinals are 19 over. But while the question of which is worse may be a toss-up, the question of which was a bigger disappointment is not. Last night's starter-Zambrano, is at the front of a substancial list of players that have disappointed fans in 2009.
