I know I state the obvious but as I sit and watch ESPN 2 here at 6 am, I see how show should be ran.

Greeny and Golic are pros. They are prepared. They have class. They are educated. They back up their opinions with facts. They have a supporting cast that doesnt get in the way and embarrass them.

North is not prepared. Has no class. Is VERY uneducated. HAs a second rate supporting cast that embarrases Chicago.

ESPN's morning radio show has flow and its an easy listen.

Norths show spits and sputters and is very hard to listen to much less like.

Am I wrong? Why dont the people making the decisions see this?

Are they too scared to can his ass? Maybe too embarrassed to say "WE WERE WRONG"?

Pro's? I turned them on for a very brief moment this morning and heard a discussion on the affect of Greenie's son getting a manicure.Classy? You mean like when they have callers try to guess what Golic is saying when he has a mouth full of donuts?

They're an easy listen alright...like elevator music. Their show is essentially Golic calling Greenie a metrosexual & Greenie making fun of Golic being a fat slob - interspersed with fawning interviews with the same ESPN "experts". (By the way...this is a shot at the over the top love for G&G...not a defense of the MNMS).

Did anyone else see the subject of this thread and immediately think to themselves, "He's no doorknob either." No? Just me? Oh well, I chuckled...

What are you talking about Belvy? Golic is fucking horrible; as much as I despise North, I'd much rather listen to his inane rambling than Mr. State the Obvious, Mike Golic.

Well, there really is no accounting for taste. Feel free to listen to that dumbass drunk all you want. Obviously, his ratings continue to indicate that his act is old, tired and not entertaining.

His show is based off guests and reacting to them. No forethought. Going into each show, he's got no idea on what he's going to discuss that day, except for arguing with Annie about anything and everything. Get really old.

Scholar - what does the name Jim Moore mean?

"Spits and sputters" is a pretty good description

And "Going into each show, he's got no idea on what he's going to discuss that day, except for arguing with Annie...", is another good description.

He prepares nothing. Partly because he drinks too much and partly because he somehow thinks he's bright and interesting enough to ad-lib everything.

I do know two people who like the show. My dentist, who thinks every petty criminal right down to shoplifters should be executed. And my barber, who's a war, guns, police, marines, and motorcyle nut. Maybe North belongs in Texas.

Why do I get the feeling that this post is straight out of Mayberry or Green Acres? My dentist and my barber? Are you sure you haven't interviewed your tailor for his input on the MNMS? Maybe you can run into Mr. Hanie at the general store and find out he has a hankering for that Annie. :P

Irish Warrior - if you read this, I think you'll agree that you need to change your "Best Post of the Day" vote for the second time today.

Hilarious! I can't wait to hear what MUScholar has to say about this one!! Is this a true story?

What do you want me to say? I was a junior in high school in 1998, and I didn't go to U of I (hence the MUScholar...)

Cute, but my vote is staying with Nas' impersonation of Salisbury. People actually thought bf was being serious. Still cracking me up. I hope someone else got the hilarious contradiction that post created. There is no way Salisbury has Nas' perfect grammar.

Re-read his post. He didn't say they were losers. He said they were brawlers, wrestlers, Jocks, and tough stoners.
