Have the game up on gamecast and the double play came up as a routine 1-5-3-4-5-3-4-5-3-4.

It only seems fitting that it's a 1-0 ballgame going to the bottom 7th with the White Sox leading...Carlos Torres seems to have found the strike zone, let alone Wrigleyville in his first start in a month...

Bottom of the 7th and 1 unearned run between the two teams? Sounds about right.

Another great defensive play by Wise. He keeps doing things that make me not hate him. I HATE that!

Jake Fox booted a ball earlier in this ballgame when Chris Getz singled and eventually scored the game's only run in the top 2nd...Now, he gets thrown out at home on a bang-bang play in the bottom 7th...

That wasn't a great play by Wise, it was a ridiculously stupid send by Quade.

Grab some bench, Koyie Hill...His strikeout keeps the score at 1-0 White Sox as the teams head to the top 8th...

Alfonso Soriano misjudges a fly ball by Anthony John Pierzynski, Gordon Beckham scores and the White Sox lead it 2-0... :D Make it 3-0, as Paul Konerko singles home A.J. and Ryan Dempster's day is done. $136 million for that crap?

I can't see that playing Soriano another inning this year having any benefit to the team.
I'd say it's about time to sit him until Feb. Enough already.

I think Dempster tipped that fastball to Pods. Should be an interesting game... a comedy of errors, if you will.

After Watching Soriano...this is now a horror of errors...Did anyone catch the reaction of Guzman? Priceless....

Darkside, if Soriano was in the American League, forget about second base and left field! He's a designated hitter!

I guess Lou and Ozzie might as well laugh since this season is over for both of them.

Soriano looked like a little leaguer on that play. And then dogs it going after the ball, like the CF would've been behind him. Wow. I don't watch the Cubs a lot. Is that how he plays LF?

It sure looks like to me...What a dog! What a waste!

I disagree. You need someone better at hitting to be a designated hitter. Right now, the only designated that Soriano deserves or can handle is Designated for Assignment. Other than that, he's LOST.

EDIT: Fixed my quote. I don't know how the hell that happened...???

If the Cubs end up losing this ballgame, you know there will be Cub fans pointing the finger directly at #12 in the pinstripe blue Cub home uniform, justified or not...

Darko, just smoke a fatty, then time matters not and neither does the Cub, which is a good thing at this point.

I took half your advise. I should have taken all of it.
