I rarely listen. Do any of the original "Score Guys" call in anymore?

Any other names? Any here on this site from the 820 AM days?

Any still call any of the shows? I still here "Stan from Bellwood" from time to time on the weekends. I think the callers have gotten worse since the RISE OF MIKE NORTH.

Do you guys agree?

While I am not going to place myself in the HALL OF CALLERS with a Patio Steve, Rafael from Berwyn, etc,

I just don't have time to call, get "screened" by an intern producer to see if my call is "worthy" to go on the air and then hold through 2 commercial breaks.

I fully understand the producers need to keep the shows moving, but the last few times I have called in, I felt like the producers wanted to go over my whole call before he allowed me on the air. Thus I rarely call.

I remember "Jovan From Niles" back in 94-95 doing the who you crappin segment.

Irish Bill used to be a regular on HFC. I would think he would be coming out of the weeds with the resurgence of ND.

A bunch of the original guys are over on the yahoogroup. Most of them don't bother calling anymore for the same reasons as BigFan.

Once there, if you want to join the group, you have to send the moderator an email asking to join. It is an age-restricted group.

It's nice to know that the group exists.

Some of the better callers are no longer with us...

Steve-O (aka Dirty Deeds) passed away a couple of years ago, and Rafy from Berwyn also passed away. Computer Boy Tom has moved passed sportsradio in his life. I even hear less from the Gridiron Assassin and Noots in the Tower. It seemed like that guy was always on the radio. Maybe people's careers take them away from sportsradio now. It also seems like fewer faxes/emails are read on the Score than in the past.

Rafy from Berwyn also passed away.

How and when did Raffy die? I met him at a remote years ago and he was full of life.

Noots and Grid, I am just guessing are not looking to hold for 1/2 hour and wait for someone who never heard of them evaluate the "Worthiness" of their call.

Noots will give the good Bear Report Card during the season on each game at CBfans.com

Grid still calls in sometimes to talk with Doug.
