well not at the moment but i will be in like an hour or so.

i had asked her for her number and she said she didn't like giving it, and then proceeded to ask for my number, took it down, showed me that she had put it in her phone...i asked her friend when she got up, "was that just because she wanted to get rid of me or what?" and her friend shook her head "no".

we'll see. it's no skin off my nose either way but she was damn purdy. :)

Muchas Gracias Z and Eaglo for attending last nite. Very glad to hear you enjoyed the show and the beer.

Zack, any guy who doesn't know the score, should have his man card revoked. You did right.

Best show I've seen since Cyndi Lauper and Cher. The drummer threw me his drum stick and after the show I blew him.

Great stuff. Frank's band kicked some ass, and was nice hanging out with his girl (nice job, FC!) and Eaglo.

I did do some scouting that night, and talked to a Bud Light girl for a while. She took my phone number. We all know what that means, right guys? (right!) Yeah so total success, yeah? (crickets chirping)

Yeah so anyway. All in all, good times.

Now I'm gonna go get ready for some Quigley's, and continue drinking. :drunken:

Oh sweetie, we were making eye contact all night and then I saw you talking to that girl and...sigh...knew I had no chance. So I was hoping Spmack would show up but...sigh...he never did. So I went home and jerked off to Lexington Steel porn.

So, what's the difference between Pi Theory and Grover Cleveland?

I'll jump in before Sarley or some other douche makes a bad joke..

Pi Theory is acoustic, mainly covers, and has been dormant for sometime now.

Grover Cleveland is 2 guitars, bass (played by yours truly), drums, and almost exclusively originals.
I'm trying to possibly land a show along with Passive Agressor at some point in the fall.

Edit: the lineups for each band (except for me) are different as well

I dig the GC stuff. The instrumental part is really well composed. On the production side, the music comes in really nice, in your face. The Jim Morrison sound alike vox guy has good pipes and energy.

I recall you had more on the myspace player a while back.

Thanks. Unfortuntely, the singer is now playing drums and me and the other guitarist have taken over the lead vocals . I'm actually not that bad..

Grover has a lot of good tunes. I enjoy playing guitar, and its great to get some free drinks and some extra $ to play 25, 30 songs in a bar on a Friday night, but Pi isn't going anywhere. Grover at at the very least has some potential.

You need a guy that has a Morrsion type voice? I think I could belt out a few..got a decent voice.

Anyway, I'd like to see GC sometime, especially if it's with PA.

I really, really want to attend this show but instead, I am going
to stay home and do something less painful and more enjoyable
than a Frank concert.
I am going to masturbate with a handful of ground glass.

You can do both, Hawk! The Pi show isn't until August 14th.

Do both?
At Durbin's?
You are a twisted little perv!!!

In all seriousness, I will not make fun of your musical abilities.
From what I have heard, your groups are pretty damned good.
I admire anyone who has artistic talents.
I know that it really takes balls to get up on the stage and play.
Good luck at the show.

Shameless self promotion. $3 U-Call-Its, no cover

We have a whole bunch of new songs debuting as well, many that you will not find an acoustic band covering.

We did play in Wrigleyville last fall. We'll play almost anywhere. But the further north we go, the less draw we'll have.

If there's places that generally have a good crowd every weekend and live music, thats for us.

Is PJ Flarety's still around? That used to be a great place to see a band. I think it's a parking lot now, but maybe they moved.

I've never heard of it until now Mel, if that answers anything.

If anybody is in/near Oak Lawn tonight, come on by and let me buy you a beer.

Yeah, we've gotta get passports so we can play in Canada, or at least closer to Darko and Doug's nape of the neck.
