I believe it's almost safe to say he isn't as good (may never be) as many of us expected. IMO he is a "borderline" bust. Without looking at any stats I'm going to climb out on a limb and say he has more drops than any player on the team.

I'm with you. He's too "stonehands-y." It'd be one thing if he could block worth a damn, but he can't. When you look at the total package, it's pretty disappointing. That said, the play they always run from the 5 yard line gets him open every time, and they should run it every time until it stops working.

BTW, channeling me from circa 2006, I was right about Knox. I knew it wouldn't be long before that guy took it to the house on a return, and sure enough he did it in his fourth game. Love that kid.

Finally, the bye could not possibly have come at a better time. Knox and Hester left the game with seemingly-minor injuries, and I'll be in Puerto Rico next weekend; they can get rested, and I'll get tanned!

You know what was horseshit? Knox dropping the ball before the endzone.

Haha, I was wondering if anyone else noticed that. It sure looked like he dropped the ball before reaching the endzone. He and the coaching staff need to have a little talk.

The Bears DB's can get away with crap play against the Lions, but other teams will tear them up, although Calvin had a good game.
Meanwhile, Mike Brown has another good game for the Chiefs, 5 tackles, 3 assists & 1 sack.

Unless you watched the game (which I didn't), you have no way of knowing that 5 tackles, three assists and a sack = good game.

He lost steam at the end of that run today and looked slow. That should have been a TD.

And they gave him the ball on the very next play which made no sense to me. He was completely gassed and the play went for no gain - maybe even a short loss.

Olsen had at least three drops that I can recall. I wonder if the "connection" between him and Cutler is waning as he has at least a couple of drops each game. I can't see Cutler being very happy about that....

Two words: sloppy seconds.

I like Johnny Knox too. I hope the bright lights and attention aren't making him into another DeSean Jackson. He seems down to earth and humble, but if the city is ridin' your jock, it could be difficult not to get overconfident.

Earl Bennett looks good too. That catch was sick (but a bad throw).

About a month ago, the night that I drafted him.

Brown is healthy & is having a decent season. I have watched parts f a couple of Chiefs games. The Bears could use him right now.

I don't believe that Olsen has ever had good hands.

<Hawk> No.

Afalava is coming along and Daniel Manning is maturing. I don't want to rely on old, creaky veterans at an important position.

The DBs leave something to be desired, but the safeties are OK.
