Packers Management should have given Dom Capers a drug & alcohol test last night. That was the most fucked up Defense I have ever seen. The Packers don't have the right personel to run a 3-4 & Kampman & Hawk are being wasted in this scheme.

Barrett Ruud is fairly strong in pass protection, at least for a MLB. He does what you ask from him there. He is not nearly as strong against the run. I would like for him to be starting at MLB for the Bears right now too, in that he is a legitimate NFL starter, and not Nick Roach. But that's saying less about Ruud then it is about Roach.

Patrick Willis is very good, but he also had a very inconsistent year last year. He had a very good game last week, which is why people like Hub come out and say "he is the best LB in the NFL". But if you watched Patrick Willis last year, you'd be complaining about his inability to fight off blockers and his weakness in pass rush situations. We undervalue the familiar, because we know the familiar's flaws.

Hawk isn't, Kampman is. Clay Matthews is too kinda, although thats more going on what we thought his skills would be coming into the NFL as we are still unsure of what he will be. The fact they dont consistently rush Matthews or Kampman is pretty mind-boggling. I'm glad Woodson called Capers out after the game.

I didnt see much of last year or even go through the game-by-game charts. I did see enough of him two seasons ago to really like him, thought/heard he played very well last year, and have seen a few of his games this year to confirm, in my opinion, he is the best linebacker in the league right now. Brandon Chillar is a close second.

He had a monster rookie year, then struggled at times last year. It looks like he's going to have a very good season this year, but I'm not going to jump on the "best LB in the NFL" bandwagon on the basis of a strong game agaist the Rams. Without putting a lot of deep thought into the question, I'd say James Harrison, but I could be persuaded.

I didnt watch last game but I watched the majority of the Vikings and Cardinals games this year and thought he looked phenomenal in them.

Both players have been good for the last 2+ years only, really. And with Willis thats obviously understandable. Watching Harrison, I feel like he's very good, just not dominant. I'm not sure I'd rather have him than Briggs, although like you waste your time(imo) trying to explain to some on here it all depends on what scheme you're running. Overall I think Briggs does his job better, I guess.

It's ok to be wrong...

Just heard Hub on B&B mention Willis as the top LB in the game right now.

Take everything Hub says to the bank and see how long it is before you are broke.

Agreed, he's a fine listen but definitely subscribes to the throw as much shit as possible against the wall and hopefully something sticks theory

Dick Juron will not be a top 5 coach very soon.

Hub & Jauron are close friends. I dont blame Hub for sticking up for him.
