Annie, talking on a number of fronts in the 1 hour that I listened...

1) Mike North says that he would take the Lions skill players over the Bears, to which Annie says, "That's really saying something" - please, Annie, you couldn't tell me one player on the Lions, much less what a skill position even is.

2) Annie says the Bears will be lucky to win 8 games this season. I'm sure this is based on her football expertise.

On to politics:

3) Annie says that John Kerry believed in his heart that the war was wrong, despite voting for it.

4) Annie says that Joe Lieberman would not be the favorite if he runs as an independent in Connecticut......Every news commentator disagrees with that one given that he'd get a lot of the Independent/GOP support.

Just another day where Annie shows she has no business on a sports station.....or a left wing radio show either!

Nicely done, BD. You have pretty much wrapped up why this show is so horrible.

As much as I loathe her left wing blather, however, I find myself cringing much more when she attempts to add to the sports conversation. Something about it just doesn't sound right.

On the very top of The Score's Website, it says "Chicago Sports Radio." Why must I be subjected to debates about homosexual marriage, Iraq, illegal immigration, etc?

This show continues to be one of the most baffling programming decisions since Marconi invented radio. (Note to Ike South: not the Giardiniera)

Yesterday they had a brilliant fight on waht is more dangerous to kids, pools or guns.

At some point with in the past couple months someone has told her to talk more, ecspecially about sports and it's brutal. She steps on everyone and just keeps going. She used to be the only tolerable person on the show when I first started listening alot in Janruary. But it is truly cringe worthy, I make a weird face when she talks and I change the station.

Rocks and Blows, I have noticed the exact same thing. She definitely has been told to add more to the sports talk. Unfortunately, she can't do it with any credibility.

She seems to have turned in to quite the little Sox fan, too. Lots of "we" this and "us" that when referring to the Sox. Seems to me when that show started in Sept. '04, when the Sox hadn't won anything yet, and the Cubs were coming off their near-miss in '03 and still in contention for the wild card in '04, she was all things Cubbie. But, I could be wrong. Even the limited amount of listening I have done to that show is enough to destroy brain cells.

I have really noticed that she's making more of an attempt be part of Mike's sports 'debates' with Fred. Mainly, it's her throwing in a modified statement that North just made, but I'm hearing her more and more try in those conversations.

Best part of the show is when North is really going off about something, and Annie chimes in with something that's just wrong, and they both just ignore what she says and continues arguing.

Those are priceless moments. Unfortunately, she never seems to get the hint.

Yes, and I think it's obvious she's 'contributing' more to the sports conversations than I remember her doing.
