i miss at least a dozen games every season even though i have dish network's mid-level hd package with the sports addon.
seeing how the NBA league pass is about $200 a year, i dont see why they cant do something like $50 a year for one team. but i agree, if WGN would just nationally televise its bulls games then i would only miss the few that are on WCIU throughout the year.
IkeSouth, there's a reason why WCIU 26 The U carries a handful of Bulls' basketball games during the regular season. Although WGN produces the games, Channel 9 locally has this network arrangement during the week with the CW Television Network, which I believe Tribune Broadcasting has a small stake in. Much like the former WB Network, the CW doesn't like it when their shows are pre-empted locally by Bulls, White Sox & Cubs' games and WGN feels they need a secondary outlet to broadcast these games. That's why U'z got games, and their first game is November 11th at Toronto, eh?
Also, keep in mind there was a much-publicized lawsuit in the '90s in which WGN, the Bulls & the NBA were in a court of law. The NBA didn't want "Superstations" like WGN America carrying the Bulls because they felt they'd cut into the other team's broadcasts. The two sides compromised, and 15 Bulls' games are available nationally with the other 15 locally.
