A couple random thoughts/things...

Joe Nathan = bad playoffs

The twins are 0-6 in yankee stadium this year. They have led all 6, 4 in the 7th or later.

I know they still had bases loaded and no outs and couldn't score, but the missed call by the left field ump was about as bad as I've seen. The ball hit well inside the line and the ump was right there looking at it. The only thing I can think of is that from the umps angle, the left fielder was blocking the ball as it hit?

That was really surprising. They made Vicente Padilla look good. That's not easy to do.

Padilla threw at least 75% fastballs all game and made the cards look bad...gotta give the guy creidt for turning his season around.

You had a feeling that the Phillies/Rockies' Game 3 that was scheduled for tonight was in trouble very early in the day. I was channel surfing and on CNN, they showed a live shot from Denver's KUSA of Coors Field completely covered in snow. That was about 9:30a (MT), and shortly thereafter, tonight's game was snowed out. The forecast is supposed to be better tomorrow with temps in the 50s. They'll start that game around 9p or so late tomorrow night.

Misery loves company.

How bad is the Nat'l league when Vincinte frickin Padillas can dominate in the playoffs?

red soxs just blew 6-5 lead top 9 all with 2 outs and angels are looking to pile on more and sweep the red soxs out of the playoffs

Loved seeing that d-bag blow the save. He talked alot of shit this season, and was rocky all season. He was getting saves, but allowing lots of baserunners and runs all season.

What the hell was Punto thinking? Thats one of the worst baserunning plays ever. B&B are right, he is a horrible player, who is talked up because he is a guy who tries hard.

How fucking good did it feel to see those rotton Cards have to watch the Dodgers jump around on their turf? Sorry that's so evil but Cardinals fans are subhuman and don't feel feelings.
Except for you lipid. I'm sure you have feelings. Like when the chick was taken away but that big iron bird in "Wild Arms" or when the Princess got taken away by Bowser, I'm sure you cried a little. Or got wood when Samus turned out to be a chick.

Probably just as good as it felt for Cards fans in October of 2007 and 2008. Probably not quite as good as October 2006 though.

I was watching in an STL bar in mid October 03 while working on the bigass Federal Mogul installation down there. It. Was. Agony.

Cards fans suck.

Except for lipid. He's all right, you know? Just a little tweeky, that's all.

Will there be applesauce to go with said chops?

Pork chops here are usually covered with Sweet Baby Ray's and cooked in a dutch oven for about 60 minutes at about 325 or so. Served with a French Bread and olive oil (with a basil and ground pepper sprinkling on the olive oil), steamed broccoli, and apple sause with a touch of cinnamon.
We like to cook. And we like to eat.

This reminds me of that scene in Zelda II when Link had to fight a shadowy Link to get the princess Zelda. We are alike, lipid. It would only take a little push to turn you to the Darkside.

Hmmm...
As much as I really dislike the Yankees, it was nice to see them knock off the Twins 3 straight. It was also nice to see the Twins shoot themselves in the ass.

Was beautiful seeing that bag of douche that is the BoSox closer meltdown with 1 strike left too. Think he did his Irish jig today?

i'd actually like to know if cards fans really take as much joy in that as much as sox fans do. not trying to make a statement, i really would be interested.

They do. Cards fans are bigger shitheads than WS fans are by FAR. At least Sox fans can still love ya cause you're a chicago cousin you know, but those bastards in STL hate the shit out of Illinois, and chicago, and their fans are bozos.
