Instead of signing a real NFL RB, the Bears have chosen to take this kid from the pratice squad down to ATL.

They didn't activate him. But just in case.

This smells awfully like the Ghost of Halas is getting involved here.

This team needs a qualified backup! and has since before K Jones even got hurt as I am not sure he even qualified.

Right now, Kahill Bell might be with the Bears on their flight to Atlanta for Sunday night's game, but it doesn't necessarily mean he'll be activated from the practice squad to backup Garrett Wolfe as the third running back...yet. The Bears seem to think Adrian Peterson and his dreadlocks might be available to play next Sunday in Cincinnati for the late afternoon start there.

I am looking forward to seeing Bell take some snaps. The only problem is if he lights it up and goes for a hundo, our first round drafted RB may have some real problems.

I still don't think the Bears will do much, but if he could contribute, I'd be glad.

I seriously doubt the Bears would give him more than a handfull of snaps let alone in a position to break a 100yd game. Stranger things have happened though...
