I just wanted to make everyone aware of a new sales mention that was just sold this week. The mention should happen when shows bring guests on the air via the phone, it should be as simple as this here...
"Joining us from the Chicago White Sox on the Skype Score Hotline is..."
Try doing this at least once per show, and if your individual show does not have a guest that day, no worries.

Well, my guess it is both.

Skype is what I use now for recording phone interviews. I would say this does seem like an odd choice for them figuring Skype doesn't have the surplus of money to spend on marketing dollars, but what do I know.

It's a barter trade. The Score is giving Skype 500 on air mentions. In return, Skype is giving the Score a $100 system to record interviews. Even trade.

Nas, Like you, I think I'm going to have to label some of my posts "sarcasm", lest they be taken seriously. I just figured with the Score's poor ratings during good portions of the day, 20 cents per mention seemed like a reasonable going rate.

Skype is a P2P type thing with free calls placed over the internet (and videoconferencing and other stuff), by the creators of Kazaa.

I don't know if it was also Skype, but I thuoght I saw one of their cell phones in a store where you don't have a contract or any of that, but can use it with your internet connection or Wifi

Skype is VOIP ... phone calls over the net. The software is free but some of the calls have charges. It is free now to make phone calls from your puter to others with Skype. It is free for this year to call from your puter to regular phones...business, home or cell. (I believe they will start charging for calls to regular phones not connected to Skype next year if I heard their ad correctly). There also is a charge for international calls.
