Your father sounds like one intelligent guy!

Episode Review: I love Larry David but the "shtick" is starting to look forced. Some everyday politeness or pleasentry is brought into question and beaten into the ground. OK,I get it! I'm not saying it's not funny, though. I enjoyed Jeff's daughter singing and being cut off by Larry. Great stuff. Also, him running around pantsless was funny.

I know what you are saying Jimmy, it hasn't gotten old this season for me yet but
I hope that the Seinfeld cast comes in and breathes new life into some upcoming
episodes. This latest one was good but not great overall.

On a side note, when the lady walking on the street told Larry to smile and he turned
around and yelled at her to mind her own business, I was laughing. About a year ago
I was in the company cafeteria making my lunch at the microwave and this loud mouth
lady comes in to use a vending machine. The guy who comes in everyday and restocks
the machine was doing his job and just plugging away. This lady had the gall to ask him
why he doesn't smile or talk and that he needs to smile more. I felt bad for the guy, it
is his job to go from location to location and restock the machines, not make friends
everywhere he goes. Seems like a nice enough guy but he is just getting his work done
and moving along without trying to get in people's way. It was an uncomfortable moment
and I wish I would have said something but I didn't (he didn't either). Anyway, I could
see how that could bother someone..... rant over.

last night's episode is kinda why i stopped watching the show for a while. it just gets tired. i still laughed and whatnot but it's so predictable and just has become very formulaic.

sherry stringfield still looks awesome though. man oh man...

WOW,yeah good luck! Love letter? Yeah,I'm sure the odds of you & her hooking up are good! On a brighter note,I do remember reading Alison Rosatti met her husband after he sent her some "fan" mail. Honestly, what is the point of fan mail? What were you hoping to accomplish?

i certainly thought so at the time; but i was 16, basement ridden, and hopelessly friendless. she was, at the time, 26 i believe. and a hollywood actress. i was sure it was going to happen!

i wonder how long it'll take for someone to bold the second part of the first sentence and make a lipid reference.

Decent episode. I was rolling when Jeff's daughter's singing woke Larry up and he cursed her out. Was anyone else reminded of the "double dip the chip" scene from Seinfeld during Larry's conversation with Christian Slater? I'm with some of youse guys in that the gags are getting predictable. I still laugh though.

This week's episode also had gags reminiscent of Seinfeld:
1) Larry wouldn't eat the pie Sam Malone offered him (Jerry wouldn't eat Papi's pee-hand-made pie)
2) Larry's :weelchairbb: date didn't like that he was bald (the bald chick broke up with George because he was bald, no longer wearing the toupee)
There were a couple more, but I can't remember them now.

Yes I thought the exact same thing when they had the argument about him being bald.

Also, I would have done both wheelchair women. I prefer Denise Handicap over Wendy Wheelchair, for what it's worth.

A pretty good episode. Someone needs to inform JLD that a boss can dictact to employees whether or not what they're wearing is inappropriate, whether or not they are a dude or a chick.

Thanks to Eaglo for sending me some episodes of this show on DVD since I do not have HBO. Pretty good stuff!

You may not want to read past this point 'til I can get you the next four, unless you like the spoilers.

the last episode was very funny but REALLY out there. Larry, should understand not every story needs to "connect" with 3 or 4 subjects all coming together at once. I think it's getting harder for him to do. I liked the fat girl-bare midriff thing. I usually refer to certain kind of womens asses as "cliffhanger material". Something to grab on to at the edge of a cliff. It was funny to see it actually acted out but with stomach fat!

Last episode was pretty good. I like the banter between Larry and Jerry.
Larry's medicine that makes him pee violently was pretty good but I hope
it was just a one episode deal. The accident with Lewis was also entertaining.
I was kind of meh on the ending but it still got a chuckle out of me as I wasn't
expecting it. Going forward I am expecting a bit more from this show.

Saw another Seinfeldian gag on the show Sunday night. Larry and Jerry play choosie for who has to tell their assistant about her attire. This was used on Seinfeld during an episode about who gets an apartment between Jerry and George.

This last episode seemed like the movie Magnolia. Everything tied together in the end. Just kind of weird and forced. Like someone else above me said, it's been happening too much with this show lately.

I think Leon should be used more.

I've got the show idea.

Leon and Larry have a boys night at Larry's house. Leon invites all of his black friends to play poker. Larry starts talking ebonics with them. They all accept him. They're drinking malt liquor. Larry reaches a moment where he says "I'm gonna stop hanging with white people. I only want black friends. Life is better this way."

Then they get strippers at the house. They should have bitches in the livin' room gettin it on and they ain't leavin' til' 6 in the morn. Larry gets drunk and wakes up with a black stripper and he doesn't realize what he did. She gets pregnant. Larry wants to get an abortion but she doesn't want to cuz she could get a lot of paternity money from Larry. You build from there.

This would be a great show.

best line in the episode was Larry saying "I think every erection is a miraculous experience".

It was completely offhand line that no one paid attention to and it had me rolling.

I'm inclined to say that this episode was my favorite thus far out of the year. They did use another Seinfeld plotline (the hat vs the puffy shirt) so I am starting to wonder if they are going to end up referencing the references later on in the season.

Surprised that there isn't any PETA outrage yet after this epidsode.

The guy who owned the country club and the balck swan was in the episode of Seinfeld where Jerry and George try to sell the Seinfeld TV pilot to the Japanese NBC (Nakamura Broadcasting Channel). He was the guy who got pissed about George talking about oranges/the represenative of the network.

Just watched this last night and I agree that it was probably the best episode of
the season so far. I thought it was the most original anyway, although I could
kind of see the connection between the ugly hats and the puffy shirt. I just loved
how everyone was getting pissed and yelling at one another, especially the banter
between Larry and Funkhauser.
