I spent the evening on the couch watching a LIFETIME channel movie with my wife. I am a Cubs fan and though we are great in number,the pain of it all is too much to bare!

And this year the World Series hasn't even started yet. Thanks WBC. At least I think it was the WBC, I can't even remember baseball that far back this year.

I bought my first brand new car the day they clinched...needed something to cheer me up. I remember driving home through the streets in the Beverly neighborhood worrying that someone was going to mess with my new ride

nothing like a new ride! I get excited,too. It starts to subside,though when after a few months,I start to notice about 1/3 of the driving community has the same friggin car!
I just can't break away from my middle-class mode of transportation!

I started the day at 4am in Bozeman, MT. I ended hammered to the bejeesus in the parking lot of the cell with my picture accompanying an AP story on the internets.

Then I spent 36 hours on a Greyhound bus to get back to school.
