Am I alone in enjoying the Cheap Seater's run filling in for Rome? I for one would like to hear more of them, though maybe their schtick would run thin after awhile. Any thoughts?

I heard them a few weeks ago on a Friday night too, as well as last night. I also think they're pretty good and show a solid knowledge of sports. Their sense of humor isn't lowest common denominator stuff and is usually pretty intelligent.

The trendy/indie bumper music is icing on their C-SPAN level of sports comedy info-tainment.

Cheap Seats marathon until 6pm local.

Better than waiting for Haley Joel Osment to show up in his '95 Saturn with the kind.

lol. I liked some of the music they played as bumpers(The Hold Steady) but you could tell they've been reading their Pitchfork, desperate to seem hip. And Band of Horses sucks, their a Great Lakes Swimmers cover band at best.

Did the SKLARS sell ESPN CLASSIC to them and write themselves in as part of the deal?
