if he goes to the clippers you know he'll tear his ACL in the first game.

by the way, how about Flynn last night? had a very nice 4th quarter, really like his aggressiveness. He did miss the shot at the very end when Wilkins got the putback but I like that confidence that in his first game as a pro, he's taking the shot at the end.

I have loved every minute of the NBA action I've gotten to watch. This is really going to be a good season. The only thing that could make it better is Kobe getting injured for the rest of the season.

no that would suck. It rob nba fans if any significant player on the lakers or spurs got injured for the year. Both teams are powerhouses. That would be a hell of a west finals.

I've seen the Spurs. I'm not extremely impressed yet. If Duncan plays 100%, that's different. Otherwise, they're a glorified Duke offense-one penetrator, three 3 point shooters. That was their offense against the Hornets-white guy, Finley and Mason Jr. just standing in spots...

i dont know what more you wanted to see last night. Duncan did look really good. Jefferson showed his finishing ability and what he will bring to them. Ginobli looked completely healthy. We know how good parker is. Like you alluded to they have 3 good three shooters. Blair looked great off the bench and mcdyess looked solid. If they stay healthy i feel great about my prediction of them winning it all

IkeSouth's comparison is much more apt

that's what I'm here for, stir up a little controversy...

borderline all-star?! Not with the Bulls, at least. I'll gladly eat my words, but he's not a basketball player. He's an unbelievable athlete who probably started playing ball later than most. Should he be a borderline all-star? Yes. But he won't be.

Look at Swift's numbers Cof. He had one year where he had similiar numbers to Tyrus last year. Tyrus will have simliar numbers or better this year and the next few years in his career. While I agree that Tyrus will probably never live up to his potential, even with that he is a better player than Swift ever was.

I'll have to knock off a few then. No Chris Paul, he's one of the smartest basketball players in the league but he's athletic too....

not exactly, but ok. There's plenty of smart guys who lacked basketball sense.

Alec Kessler
Felton Spencer
Adam Keefe
Jon Koncak

etc.

You'll need a couple of guards so don't forget to consider J.R. Smith and Telfair.

Im having tryouts right now. If they show up on time, they are disqualified.

Im looking at
Bynum, Josh Smith, Dalembert, Curry and Jamario Moon

your contest isn't worth having. The smartest basketball players in the league can dunk. Most players overall can dunk. Kidd might not be able to. Paul, kobe, duncan, rasheed, hamilton, billups etc all can
