The best thing is from everything we heard the baseball people will control the baseball decisions while Tom and others handle the business side of the game.

That was my big concern about Cuban buying the team. He'd interfere with the baseball decisions too much.

This is the difference between someone like Cuban and Ricketts.

Let's see the top flashy dashy free agent was a 3rd baseman.

There was a really good free agent but not a flashy name shortstop.

The Cubs had a very good 3rd baseman but desperately needed a shortstop.

Cuban would go for the 3rd baseman because it made the splash not caring that it didn't do much to improve the team.

Ricketts would get the shortstop because baseball people would tell him the Cubs were better off keeping the one they had and improving a weak position.

The best thing would be if Ricketts revoked Cubbiegirl's season tickets.

Oh he's lied already...He said that PSL's have not even been discussed yet, nor have naming rights for the ballpark....now lets see, he's a Billionaire, he had been working on buying the team for 3 years...yet he never had either subject come up for discussion? Both have the potential to bring in many millions of dollars, yet as good a businessman as he is, these things never occurred to him and did not come up for discussion??? Oh Big Fan, the lies started on day 1. I understand why he didn't want to discuss either, but I do resent the fact that he lied about both. Just say that there have been no decisions made on either and that both will be looked at, but there is no current plan to implement either one in the immediate future.
