Well, my friend, I'm glad to have your feedback. How thoughtful of you.
Is it childish to pursue something that makes me genuinely happy, rather than focus on something that makes me unhappy, much like you do? Perhaps you lash out against me becuase you've looked at all your relationships, and found that they've all turned toxic, and you have to blame someone else, anyone else, because that is so much easier than accepting responsibility for your own actions. Perhaps you look at me, a happy person in a happy, healthy relationship, and you see something that you've wanted, and haven't been able to achieve. Maybe you see me happy, playing with my friends, and wish that at some point you wished you had the balls to try it yourself. Maybe you're just lonely and angry that I don't suffer the same fate.
Is this my midlife crisis? Dear friend, I certainly hope so, because these have been the happiest years of my life. I hope this crisis lasts forever.
