Although the Bulls' intro music remains the Alan Parsons Project's 1982 song "Eye in the Sky", has anyone noticed they've replaced Pink Floyd for Star Wars' "Evil Empire" for the visiting introductions?

I noticed that too. Lame. Either use "On the Run" or nothing at all. The remix of "Sirius" is lame and so is the video. Why and how do CGI bulls get people pumped up in 2009?

EDIT: Yeah it's "Sirius" not "Eye in the Sky." GET SOME FACTS AND COME BACK AND SEE ME.

Well, in SHARK's defense, those songs are always played back to back on the radio. I can see why he'd think Sirius is just the first part (probably a better musical term that I forgot) of Eye In The Sky.

they need to drop the CGI and bring back Ray Clay. You had a good thing and then you've nearly ruined it.

Whoever wrote, performed, and plays that Only the Bulls song should be shot at dawn. That atrocity can't be tired because it never WAS good.

City, you are only half right. Tommy Edwards did a really good job before he started programming oldies stations in Los Angeles & Boston before coming back to Chicago a few years ago. When Steve Scott, the man who replaced Ray Clay, left to become a newsman at WCBS-AM in New York, Bulls' officials felt the right man for the job was Tommy. It had to do with "moving in a different direction" when the Bulls dropped Clay, also the P.A. voice of the UIC Flames & WNBA Chicago Sky. As for the "Only the Bulls" song, you're absolutely right...It wasn't good back then, and it's awful now.

You're not seriously suggesting they get rid of "Sirius," are you? That's the Bulls.

Went to the game last week v. the Bucks.

They played the riff of Pantera "Walk" near the end of the game.

It was "very cool". 8)

Nickelback is a scourge on all humanity. Blame Canada.

I could careless about Nickelback, and someone remind the lead singer of that band, Chad Kroeger, that this is 2009 not 1989...Get a haircut!
