It's been a long week...
--------------------------
College games everyday, hooray football!
--------------------------
This weekly wagering contest will reward the best football prognosticator with a $100 gift certificate from a meat/steak company. New guys can still join in any time and you don't have to make a pick every week. Post them all at once or in separate posts, but they must be posted in the current week's contest thread. Post your plays any time, but they must be posted before a game you are playing kicks off. You must make your picks in this thread and you must provide at least one reason for each pick. Minimum 50 picks to qualify by the end of the contest.

Iowa +16.5 vs Ohio State- I know people think the Buckeyes will win and win big, but Ferentz can get quarterbacks to play when he has time with them. let's see what happens tommorow.

Georgia Tech -13 vs Duke- Tech had a close gam last week, but still won, well they win this one easily and get ready for the ACC championship game after the win.

Arizona +3 vs California- The Wildcats are starting to think Rose Bowl and when Cal lost Best last week, didn't score until the last drive. so I think Arizona gets the straight out win.

Kansas State +1 vs Missouri- I though Mizzou turned it around, but Baylor took care of that last week and K-State is in good shape for the Big 12 title game, and should still be in good shape after this game.

Notre Dame +6.5 vs Pittsburgh- Most of the people have said that Pitt will win this one, I think Notre Dame plays for Weiss, keeps it close, and remember this Weiss's first win at Notre Dame was at Pitt, loss here could seal that this will be his last year at Notre Dame, but I would think they would play well.

Kansas St +1 over Missouri

K St has allowed 14, 6 and 10 pts in their 3 conf home games. Kansas had beaten K State 3 straight and that ended last week. Mizzou has beaten K St 3 stright and that streak ends today as well. K St has won 4 of their last 5, Mizzou has lost 3 of their last 4. Snyder has K State playing real well right now and they get this one in their last home game of the year.

Miss St +12.5 over Alabama

Miss St had last week off, Alabama has had tough games with Tenn and LSU the last 2 weeks. First road game for Bama since Oct 10. Miss St 6-1 as a home dog.

Oregon -18 over Az St

Oregon had their clunker last week. They bounce back strong this week against a team they have owned lately. Az St has lost two tough ones the last 2 weeks. I think their tank will be empty against an angry Oregon today.

Northwestern +5 over Illnois

Illinois favored by 5? I know they have played better the last 2 weeks but that was against two teams with not so good D's. Hopefully no letdown for NW after their big win at IA last week. This is each teams main rival so I will take the pts.

Flor St +5.5 over Wake

Wake has covered the last 5 in this series, all as dogs. Now they are the fav so I will take the pts.

Pitt -6.5 over ND

Dog has been king this year in ND games. Looks too easy to take ND in this one. Pitt has the better D. Hard for me to take Wannie but I will. Hanley picked ND in this one and he has been brutal with his ND picks so I will go against him here.

BYU -26 over New Mex

Road team has covered last 7. NM is bad.

Falcons -1 vs Panthers- If the Falcons want to make the playoffs, will need a win here and it will be intresting to see how the Panthers respond after the tough loss last week.

Chargers -1 vs Eagles- I think the Chargers have it going now and the Eagles looked a little bad last week.

Cowboys -3 vs Packers- Romo and the Boys are looking good and Rodgers has little to no protection.

Patriots +1 vs Colts- I don't like when everybody goes with the road underdog, but I think the Colts injuries catch up with them in this game.

From Pinnacle Sports

Cowboys -3 over Green Bay - Im surprised this hasnt changed at all. The Cowboys are playing much better than the Packers. I dont think this game will be decided by double digits. For all intents and purposes, GB's season is done. Dallas 31-21.

Denver -3.5 over Washington - Last week's MNF game was close in the 4th. Broncos arent that bad. They win this one easily 24-6.

Bills +9 over Titans - I think VY goes to 3-0, but its closer than the spread says. Titans win 21-17.

Vikings -16.5 over Lions - Lions suck, Vikings are on a roll.

Saints -13.5 over Rams - See above.

Falcons -1 over Panthers - Falcons only losses are road losses to 3 of the best teams in the league. They should win this one.

Week 11 Pro Football Rundown

Jags @ Jets -6 1/2
Which Jacksonville team will show up? The one that loses by a TD.

Broncos -3 1/2 @ Redskins
Have defense, will travel. I want Orton's nickname to be "The Recipient".

Bengals +7 @ Steelers
Can the Natty Cats sweep Pittsburgh? No, but they stay with a TD.

Bills +9 @ Titans
T.O. shows up and takes revenge for the Music City Screwjob from 10 years ago. Thank you.

Lions @ Vikings -16 1/2
Jared Allen will play the game wearing a giant foam cowboy hat and get five sacks. Ugly.

Saints -13 1/2 @ Rams (50)
N.O. will score 50 and the Rams will score less than 37. Take the over.

Falcons -1 @ Panthers
Carolina has too many hurt and Atlanta is a playoff team.

Bucs +10 @ Dolphins (43)
T.B. will be down 16 late a get a garbage TD. Miami run game kills the clock. Take the under.

Chiefs +1 @ Raiders
Fun will be had by all in the eastbay. This is my Push Of The Week.

Seahawks +9 @ Cardinals
Seattle pass game will stay within double digits in the dome.

Eggles -1 @ Chargers
It didn't go too well last time Philly headed west. S.D. didn't walk over Oakland either.

Cowboys @ Green Bay +3
Only home dog I'm taking this weekend(Redskins,Rams). Wade Phillips should be deported and sent to Canada.

Patriots @ Indy -1 (48)
P-E-Y goes nuts, goes apeshit all over N.E. D. Pats have a good player or two on offense. Take the over.

Ravens -10 1/2 @ Browns
Woe is the city of Cleveland. They might score twice. Nevermore.

KC +2.5 over Oakland

KC has covered last 6 in Oakland. Can't see Oakland beating anyone twice in the same year.

Buffalo +8 over Tennese

Tenn has played good the last 2 weeks but they still have only 2 wins. Will take the pts.

Washington +3.5 over Denver

Washington has to be desperate today. Their D can shutdown the Denver O. Hopefully their O can do enough.

Over 43 Tb/Mia

Miami should reach the 30's today.

Over 46.5 Sea/Az

No reason why both teams shouldn't reach the mid 20's.

Over 47.5 Dal/Gb

Once again, both teams should be able to reach the mid 20's.

1-6 today. My descent into mediocrity continues, despite a blip on that path last week.
