One major issue I have had with the Angelo regime has been the lack of size at WR. I can admit I wanted Mike Williams from USC and Charles Rogers from MSU. The big WR makes your QB's better! Look at what has been going on in SD for years! Just go around the league and find the best WR's? a Majority of them are 6'2"+

Mooshy was an attempt at getting bigger, but the scouting can be questioned on that one and maybe see if he was getting single underneath coverage while Steve Smith ran wild?

Now you have a tall WR , who IN CASE NOBODY LISTENS, YOUR STAR QB LIKES THROWING TO!!!

PLAY HIM!

His one catch this year was a damn good one too. I'd like to see more of Aromashodu, and I agree that Cutler would as well.

Maybe his quad took twelve whole weeks to heal from training camp.

Yeah - this guy is clearly a star in the making...how can the coaches not see this?

2008 SEASON: Spent most of the 2008 season on Washington’s practice squad... Inactive for three games for the Bears after being claimed to Chicago’s active roster.
2007 - Saw action in 6 games for the Colts with 1 start... Posted 7 receptions for 96 yards... Also made 1 catch for 13 yards in the postseason.

I'm not sure where Nas said he's going to be a star, pro-bowl type receiver. It is not crazy to think that A) He might be better than the meh we have on the field and B) He is a different style of receiver than anything we have.

I also would like to see him get a few balls thrown his way to see what he can do

Which means he spent the latter part of January 2007 mimicking Meshin Muhammad.

That's how Marcus Robinson got his start, except Aromashodu got to work with Peyton Manning, and now Cutler.

I picked Nas' quote only because it was a succinct summary of the feelings expressed throughout the thread. Bears and Cub fans seem to get giddy at unknown players who have 1 or 2 highlight plays early on...always thinking they know more than the guys who are paid to evaluate them on a daily basis.

I like him because he is the only big target the Bears have at WR. The fact that Cutler loved him and wanted him on the team does influence my feelings about the guy. It didn't hurt to see him make some nice catches in the limited time he has played. Everyday a star is born. Clap for him.

His one catch this year was a damn good one, and the one he had in the preseason was unbelievable!

I'm with you Nas.

I understand your point for sure, especially as a Cubs fan. But are you really impressed with the wide receivers we have? I'm not. Cutler loves Aromoshadu. Like you pointed out he never really has had consistent playing time, we might as well find out what he can do with the rest of this season.

And like Nas said, he's an actually big target Jay can throw some balls too
