Fuck Jay Cutler. I never liked him in Denver, and now he's being exposed as the overrated whiny douche he is, but everyone is jumping for every excuse in the book, even tonight when protection is fine, field position is good, receivers are open and the ball goes nowhere near them.

A team willing to give you away for a return of Kyle Orton should be a red flag. Big deal, he has a good arm, as you can see, that's not everything. Even in Denver he looked better because he was surrounded by much better talent and coaching and even they had no problem letting him go over some argument that makes preteens look mature. Superstars have issues with their team all the time, some much worse than this one, and they don't just give them away like that. The true meatballs are the ones who went nuts once this deal was made, acting like everything was fine with this team and that Jay would come in and magically throw 300-400 yds/game without even knowing who he really was

Really? Because, all the wide receivers can do is get open. And they did. A lot. Over and over again, actually.

Remember how Cutler would hit those guys 30 yards downfield when Orton would always overthrow them?

How many more games would the Bears have won with league-average QB play? At least three, by my count.

The greatest part about all this is that so many people will have to say that they might have been wrong. I've already done it, although, in fairness, I also said that you were giving up a lot, Orton wasn't as bad as everyone made him out to be, and that it was a close call. Well, let's hear it, bandwagon jumpers. It'll feel great. "If I was GM, I would have made the same, shitty decision." No second-guessing on this one, like with everything else.
