Cubs starting pitching wasn't bad last year, but they will need help this year for sure. I would rather see a lefty than another righty but honestly, there's nothing on this team that I wouldn't mind seeing replaced, DL being the only real exception. Or would you give up Lee for some prospects?? Thoughts for another thread.

Ok, can you say to me that say the Seattle GM is looking at the Chicago blogs and saying "Oh my, someone else could scoop up Milton Bradley, says so in the Tribune blogs, I better offer the Cubs some juicy prospects and pay all $20 million remaining". Hell no. Don't tell me that other GM's believe this crap and it has an effect on helping the team.

We'll just leave it at this: We disagree on that. Perhaps my expectations of honesty and integrity were too high for this Company (Chicago Cubs).

Hendry doesn't want to 'equal out the salaries'. He's trying to find someone to pay as much of the remaining $21M on Bradley's contract as possible so he can use that 'savings' to fill other holes on the roster. Just swapping bad contracts and evening out the money won't accomplish what they are trying to do.

No. It's not new to me. I've just finally had enough of it. I hate when bullshit an innuendo is presented as news. And these outlets wonder why no one buys their shit anymore, why subscriptions are down and so on.
