The former Michigan State standout wide receiver got cut from the Lions today, does anyone think that the Bears should pick him up? He can't be much worse than what the Bears have at wide out now.

I think they should take a look at him. Bring him in and make a decision from there.

Hopefully, they will. When Rashied Davis (I'm not knocking him) is your #3 or #4, Berrian's a #2, I'd say that looking at Rogers would be smart.

While he is certianly worth a look, I don't think another teams castoff reject is going to be the answer. A change in scenery sometimes does wonders for a player and if thats the case then great. It's probebly gonna take a trade to get anyone anygood.

True enough, but he was a highly drafted player with great talent. I think his biggest problem is that he's a headcase - lazy, and probably on drugs.

Even if we brought him in, I don't think we could expect too much, but if could be a contributor, he may be an upgrade as a #3 WR.

I just have no confidence in our WR's, and this guy, from a talent standpoint, is more talented than any WR on the Bears roster - if he could stay healthy, work hard, and stay out of trouble, we may an upgrade. Then again, the guy is a moron, so I'm not holding out any hope.

Of course, if he could do that, he'd probably still have a job in Detroit.

But, he didn't do that in Detroit.

Maybe, a new team, different voices, the realization that his career could be on the outs, may wake him up.

We'll see, but it's looking like not Chicago for Rogers.
