Agree, Lovie should be fired just for burning 2 timeouts on one play.

Now you can't stop the clock b/c you wasted two time outs on one play that everyone knew was not going to get reversed.

I think I can hear OB's head about to explode.

Should be another alltimer post game where they start yelling at one another and are about to kill one another before they realize that they agree on whatever point they are screaming about.

But why are we seeing him in December? The season is damn near over and now we have this receiver who we seem to like but could only get on the field b/c of an injury to Hester. Their talent evaluation stinks. Their left guard (I won't butcher his name) is awful and Williams was a piece of crap today too. And yes, receivers at this point should probably be on the same page as Cutler. Has Drake done a good job with these people? Me thinks not.

for a game that didn't matter, I really enjoyed watching it today... the 4th quarter was really frustrating, but it was one of the more entertaining games this year...

I have always agreed with the Bernstein logic concerning HOW CLOSE IS A TEAM TO A CHAMPIONSHIP....
THIS team......with this horrific management...LIGHT YEARS.

Everyone, from the top down, should be sacked, in the British sense of sacking...if only because a guy like Aroma-sha-doo, who is no great shakes, btw...no apologies to the real shakes, as he fucking sucks, too...could not find the field with the steaming pile of receiving corps feces that has inhabited the turf to date, for Christ's Sake.
I am so sick and tired of my fucking teams sucking.

I see Cutler had two more picks today with one contributing to a go ahead TD.

If this guy doesn't improve next year, this Bears franchise is FUCKED as well as we fans.

I don't know if he's trying too much or trying to be the hero but at this point he looks like a mediocre QB with limited upside.

I looked on Yahoo Sports. They do post stats and game summaries. Why do you people think I lie about not watching games? This team is not worthy of watching. They are worthy of checking the web however.

This game ultimately sealed the fate of Lovie Smith.

It's his own fault too. He specifically mentioned that beating the Packers was a top priority, if not the #1 priority.

It's funny that I knew that challenge was coming as soon as they took the timeout.

Lovie, Ron Turner, and Jerry Angelo all should be fired the day after the season ends.

id also like to add that punting instead of going for it on their own 45 late in the game when it was 4th and less than a yard was absurd. even the announcer whatever his name was said the bears fans should be booing such a shitty decision

Don't forget about Ted Phillips. I never liked the idea of an accountant runnning the Football operations.

He's been bad, but I have to believe that some chunk of his badness falls on the receivers. There are way too many passes that aren't within 10 yards of the receiver. His accuracy can't be that bad.

At one point yesterday the announcers did a couple minutes about how Cutler can only throw to what he sees because anytime he assumes where the receiver will be breaking his route to, they seem to not do it. You watch the good QB/WR teams and guys are throwing the ball to spots before the WR even make the cut.

you can see on the int intended for knox cutler ran right up to him after the play and started telling him something about what he was supposed to do or what he thought he was going to do. he cant seem to get on the same page as any of those guys for whatever reason

And that is what amazes me about the level of stupidity involved in all of this. Listening to Hanely today is a perfect example. In one breath he wants to talk about how bad the level of talent is at WR, and the next, he is blasting Cutler and entertaining some fucktard caller about trading him. It wasn't that long ago that we were wondering what this kid is supposed to do with the level of talent at WR before the season started. And now we are into full-on fan retard mode.

He has already outplayed Orton in terms of attempts/yards, and has 3 games to go. Yeah, whoopee, but even in a bad year, this kid surpasses Orton. Yes, the INT's are unacceptable, but completely understandable people. Yesterday's game is the perfect example of all the issues with this team. Literally every problem was exhibited clearly, in that game. But one above all, was the inability for inexperienced WR's to know very fundamental shit, and it is nothing new. Why would Knox break toward the sideline in that situation? You immediately paint yourself into a coverage corner. I played safety growing up, and WR's at every level know not to do that. DA is the only guy who looks like he has been coached.

You can track a significant portion of Cutlers INT's to WR ineptitude, and flat out bad luck. Bad bounces, all that shit. It is just one of those years, combined with a heaping helping of ineptitude at every single level. If you think otherwise, you need to push the reset button and remember all of our original concerns going into this year.

He's thrown the ball more times for a similar average per completion!

You can't honestly be making a case that 2008 Jay Cutler has outperformed 2007 Kyle Orton. Really?

That field looked hideous again yesterday! Where does the Park District get that grass? Home Depot? Menards? HOBO Bargain Outlet?

Going into that game, the attempts yards were almost identical.

Fact is, despite a season where the team literally fell apart, this kid has had one of, if not the most prolific passing years of any Bears QB...

Most prolific passing years of any Bears QB...???

Is too early to retire his jersey?

Thanks for letting me know that the abysmal QB play we've been getting is something to be excited about!
