Nobody should go to the Monday Night Game v Minn!!!!!!

This is the type of thing the McCaskeys hate second to losing money.

Having an empty Soldier Field on National TV is what triggers them to act.

This is how and why Wanny was launched. Empty seats, regardless if the tickets are paid for as any owner knows empty seats cost money and empty seats become empty ticket sales.

The "Favre factor" is going to make this a tough sell.

You know ESPN will shove #4 in Minnesota purple & white down America's throat on its pregame coverage Monday night...

They should. He's having a great season, and Minnesota is an elite team this season.

BigFan,

You can count me in as someone who won't be going to that game, BF. Even if I had a ticket.

Jimmy, I consider both you and BigFan to be meatballs of the highest order. But I mean that in an endearing way and not condescendingly, like the uncle or friend I have that wear their emotions on their sleeve and shoot their sports fire and passion out first and questions later, so to speak.

if it could be properly organized, it would have some impact. But that's not real likely.

idk the bears might just win with minnesota playing like this. I mean, besides the qb spot, are the panthers really that much better than the bears?

The only outpouring of meatball on this board was after the Bears win over the Browns.

The "walkout"/"No Show" stuff never works. I went to a game in Detroit a few years ago when the fans had an organized walkout protesting Matt Millen. About 50 people in the stadium got up and walked out. It was actually a good thing because the meatballedness of the crowd dropped big time.

They wouldn't be no shows anyway. Those tickets would be bought up by viqueen fans. If I had tickets, I'd be looking to sell them to a Viking fan asap.

BigFan, I have never been to a game, so I am one step ahead of you. Too expensive, too cold. They always suck.

Yeah that would be maybe more embarrassing than an empty stadium. If the cameras showed the stadium and 2/3rds of it was purple.

Trust me, it will be embarrassing enough without no-shows or purple in the stands.

WRONG!

The McCaskeys have been close to the edge of fan mutiny. They know what it is like.

When empty seats starting showing in the Wanny years and the seaosn ticket waiting list went from 40,000 to below 10,000 they fired him.

I am not calling for any protest, no walk out, no billboards just the fact that the owner(s) of the team notices empty seats and history exists to prove it.

For as much as I hate the fact some old lady is the owner of this team, she has some sense of tradition and can be shamed into acting. A very empty Soldier Field on Monday night national TV is a very powerful signal to her that would cause a definite reaction unlike almost anything else with her.
