Sorry, I don't have the Buchman Memo. I already killed it last week because I thought it was a "planted" memo since Mitch is still trying to figure out my true identity. I didn't believe Buck would give up 80K on his own. No good gossip yet on the real story, just wild speculations run amok.

what is some of that wild speculation? and did North even talk about Buch quitting?

Tom Dreesen and Nancy Sinatra must have gotten one to many early morning calls.

Fencik and thayer were cut for budgetary reasons, and Buch probably was too. Rock will get perhaps a 25% bump and the station will save another 75K with Buchy gone.

Maybe Javier Delgado will get the call out of the overnight bullpen.

All and all a good week for the Cost Reaper at SCR.

i think it's hilarious that the ESPN guys openly post with their real names, but not company memos, and the Score dude posts memos without his identity known. If Mitch ever did find out....would you be fired?

Very good question, but no / it took me several days to determine that others had gotten it as well, and the only way to prevent myself from initially posting it was to kill it. I was paranoid. The "headers" and recipients windows looked different on it. And yes, I'd be fired according to CBS policy.

I have absolutely no interest in the memos, but I find the cat and mouse game hilarious.

I honestly don't think any producer, engineer or on air host (nor would I blame them) would have the balls to post these memos, in fear of his or her job.

I am just guessing, the person could be some part time worker who works at the receptionist desk when you first walk into the Score offices. When I was there last spring, the receptionist looked like he was a twenty-two or something, and easily could have been just working it as an after school job. I'm probably wrong... wouldn't be the first time, or last time.

Regardless, I think the "cat and mouse games" (as Dolphin accurately stated it) is priceless. Keep up the good work.
