Keyser, you are assuming these other players/offers were really available. It is not like Hendry had all these options on the table and just decided to go with Silva/Mariners. From everything I read, while other names were floated about and discussed the only option came down to the Mariners or completely eating the contract. If those are the only 2 options, then Hendry did the only thing he could. And again, no matter what choice he would have made, you would be on here bitching about it.

i didnt expect to get much, but that doesnt mean i have to be excited about getting shit in return. it was a terrible trade they made, just to unload a guy. bradley has a much bigger upside as a player for producing in 2010, even if he is a dipshit and a troublemaker. getting a rag-arm suck-fest pitcher in return doesnt excite me.
