I watched this again last weekend, and I think the funniest line of the movie was one I didn't even catch the first time around. Its when the three of them are carrying the baby, walking to Heather Graham's place, and Allen says:

"Its got Ted Danson, Magnum PI, and that Jewish actor..."

I finally saw this last week. Thought it was good, but could've been a lot better. Thought the decision to show everything Lost style in flashbacks was a poor choice and the movie would've been better if they actually showed what happened the night before. When they showed the hotel room at the beginning and it was all trashed I assumed we would get to see what exactly happened, but instead they didn't bother to explain a lot of it.

And they totally under utilized the asian comedy actor (forgot his name)...he's hilarious and they should've shown more of him.

And the end was really stupid....he's been on the roof the whole time? Ghey.

I couldnt disagree with you more if I tried. I loved the fact that they got so drunk they couldnt remember anything(drugged too). The whole basis of the movie was them trying to find doug.

I wanted to kill the asian comedy guy your talking about. I thought he almost ruined the film. He annoys the piss out of me.

The ending did suck, but overall I thought the movie was great.

Saw this for the 1st time last night and thought it was pretty good. I didn't think the ending was that bad. I liked how the whole thing with finding Doug turned out.

I just saw this last night too and thought it was great. What made the movie so good is that we didn't get to see the party, just the aftermath and we were taken for a great ride as they tried to piece together what happened. It was well played. The asian guys sucks and was very annoying at least in this movie.

Rented it last week and was thoroughly disappointed. Ha ha, men are infantile dopes and getting drunk is funny. That's groundbreaking comedy. Yeah, one could expect that from a movie titled "The Hangover," but it doesn't make it any less dumb.

Is there a single movie where you can look at the plot from 30,000ft and say it's truly different than any other movie?

I don't have a problem with the fact you think it is overrated, I just think it's silly to use a broad generalization as the reason for doing so.

I'm accepting suggestions for replacements. Would 40,000ft work?

The Hangover will likely not win any oscars. That wasn't the goal of the movie though. It was to make people laugh, and in that sense is was successful. Besides, most of the biggest laughs in the movie come from Allan, who was sober when most of his lines were made.

I'm sure some corporate motivational speaker will come up with some other shit phrase for all to copy in the very near future.

But what should I do in the meantime?

Our corporate handbook says not to complain about something unless you have a solution.

Watched this last night for the first time. Very funny with a lot of laugh-out-loud moments. The Tyson sucker punch of Alan was priceless.

I was just irked that they said the cause of Phil's concussion was in the pictures, then we never saw what it was?

I have a question from "What was in the briefcase department"...

Has anyone figured out the significance of Allen's pager? If you recall he asked the front desk clerk if there is a reception at the hotel and later in the pictures there was one where he was checking it while getting a lap dance.

I just think he had it to 'look (and feel) important'.

Remember, the f'nd guy wore a jock strap all the time.

It was part of a longer series of pictures at the end, and it ended up getting cut with a few other things. It should show up on some director cut someday.
