Scorehead have you made that list of successful college coaches in the NFL yet?

I thought I told you not to tell anyone about my $50K shower?
No, I said Jim's hot because I think he's hot.
Why do you "hate" Jim Harbaugh? That is a strong sentiment for a football coach, right?
You should know by now that I don't take this board as serious as some others. Take it easy.
Happy New Year and all...

It wasn't really a fair statement and we've never been jokey before. Sorry if I took it the wrong way, you are mostly okay with me.

I have a few crushes but it's not like that is how I form most of my opinions. I don't choose teams based on uniforms.

Thats a tall assignment that I dont have time for right now. But I would guess that nearly every successful NFL coach coached at the D1 college level at some point.

Harbaugh is and always has been a screamy yelly assbag shit stirrer. He was a whiny crybaby that blamed his teammates a lot and wasn't really that good of a qb.

Still,he was one dropped endzone pass from a super bowl. Also,he wasn't that bad with the Bears, but I'm going by my hazy memory, too lazy to check stats.

I don't remember Harbaugh blaming his teammates. But I do remember Ditka chewing on his ass a lot.

I've not heard that. Good leaders are generally guys who are vocal & will call out guys who are slacking & not pulling their weight. Nearly every QB fits your desciption. What I know is that Harbaugh has earned a lot of credibility & respect in recent years at SD State & Stanford.
Sometimes great leaders of Men are screamy yelly assbags. There is quite a long list of them from Woody Hayes to Bo Schembechler, Bear Bryant, Nick Saban, George Halas, John Madden, Vince Lombardi, & hundreds of others.

I missed the great leader of men in the 90's then. Michigan has pretty much turned their back on him.

The Maze & Blue should have hired Harbaugh instead of Rich Rod. Perhaps he'll replace Rodriguez when Rich gets fired in a year or 2?

So you were in favor of Tomczak back then?

I loved Harbaugh because he wasnt Tomczak. Dont remember the whiny part, but I was young.

He's been pretty successful in college.

Id take him over Shannahan

Michigan gets a new A.D. in September....Harbaugh is destined for the Michigan job unless Rich Rod turns this debacle around....and SOON.

This dumb ass "Organizational Meeting" between Angelo and Lovie should be great fodder for Boers and Bernstein.
Meeting of the Mopes.....Get Philips, Mike and the Old Lady in there, too!

I'm a huge fan of Harbaughs coaching style & philosophy. The guy is a natural born leader & yes, he has plenty of fire & passion. I watched 4 or 5 Stanford games this year & this guy can coach. He grew up around the game & has been a winner at every level. He is the hottest coach in D1 college football right now & he wont be at Stanford much longer.
When Stanford played USC this year, he ran the score up on Pete Carrol which gives Harbaugh additional bonus points in my book...& he went for 2 when leading big near the end of the game in an attempt to score 50 points.
Even more strange & entertaining though was when he called the old Michigan power running play 14 times in a row during the USC game. Bo would have been proud!
If you don't like excitable coaches who are all over the sideline high fiving & butt slapping then he's probably not the guy for you, but he is an incredibly intelligent guy & his success at SD State & Stanford is garnering him a lot of national attention.

Easily the funniest thing I've seen in awhile.

After that he questioned how many SD State games RFDC watched when Harbaugh was there
