Anyone listening this morning? It's the MNMS with Mike, Fred, Annie AND Drinky. The only thing I've heard Annie say is the weather. She didn't even comment on her beloved Notre Dame. Sounds like her mic will only be on for the news and weather. As it should be. Drinky will be on all week. Is this part of the change that has been alluded to? Very interesting...

I was listening on the way into work and it was a welcome change for me. Maybe this is a test run to see if they want to make a change long term with this crew. The only question is why keep Annie around to just do news? Is it a way to get Annie to look for a new job and not have to pay the rest of that contract?

That would also explain where drinky's been the last week or so - adjusting to the time difference.

Having a 3rd person in there talking sports is a welcome change, and although I don't agree with North's consistent 2nd guessing, and his what have you done lately attitude, the show sounds very good today!

Who knew ? Talking sports on a sports station would actually be the kind of talk that a sports fan would want ? Genius' over there, I tell you!

I wonder if this is a permanant change ? It should be - Abatacola isn't afraid to express his opinions, and adds some humor to the show.

It is amazing how quiet Annie is - I wonder if this raise she got, and apparent demotion, mixes well ?

But Mike continues to show he's hypocrit. Says he knew the Bears would be 2-0 after all he did was rip on them and wasn't sure if they could beat the Packers. He then told Drinky he sounded like a Cub fan when Drinky said the Sox had a chance, Mike then kissed AJ's ass saying he thought the Sox had the Tigers in a good spot. I also thought Mike was a fan of both teams. And his insight on the Bears game was that of a novice. Fred is still a giggling little bitch. But Drinky is an improvement. Plus it's cant be much worse then the new Q101 show.

Don't care how stupid North sounds... as long as Drinky is willing to take him to task (somebody has to). I would go the step further to suggest why not just remove Fred and have him do updates only?

But if they don't do that, I could tolerate Mike Fred and Drinky.

I guess they could keep Fred if he just reads the updates and doesn't talk. That's how all the other shows do it. Annie can come on during the top and say "We're still at war in Iraq, and it's gonna be 65 and rainy today" and shut up. Then it wouldn't be that bad. Otherwise it's gonna be 4 people fighting for air time on a show that has 30 minutes of commercials per hour anyway.

Today, Fred was the 3rd wheel in the discussions....you know he's there, but clearly it was North and Abatacolla arguing all morning.

I laughed when North would go into commercial, he would say stay tuned, and then mention himself, Matt, Fred and Annie as if she was actually contributing to the show.
