 probably right. Am i the only basketball fan who's annoyed that jefferson has no chemisty with his teammates. Ideally, He should of had a unique skill set that the team lacked

I've been dissapointed with his play this year also. He is averaging 4 less pts/game and just doesn't seem to fit in on that Spurs team. I was skeptical when he went to the SAS, don't think the offense they run down there feeds into his strengths.

not to hate on phil but i consider pops the best nba coach of my lifetime. That's why i'm disappointed he'r not pushing more of a transition game with tony and jefferson. Duncan is easily a talented enough outlet passer to make this work

We've had this debate before and I still say you are wrong.

i knew you would say that. No problem, most nba fans would agree with you i believe

Besides his contract there is a reason he keeps getting traded.

yeah you're probably right. I usually feel the need to give buford the benefit of the doubt though. After this and the scola deal though you gotta wonder if he's losing a step

holy shit anyone else listening to the announcers? They sound like 3 john grudens working for the sixers pr department. I'm pretty sure i could call a '86 celtics vs. '97 bulls game and be more critical than they are of the 9-22 sixers

been a rough last couple of games....they should have won the one Cavs game at Clevleland, OK. But losing to the Knicks at home and allowing Nate "haven't played since lat year" Robinson to go off and then getting drubbed by the Heat is not looking good....and the schedule does not get any easier- New Jersey should get them back on track Wednesday but then there's a back to back with Boston and Orlando on the weekend, followed by another Boston game Tuesday. Yikes.

I read the espn daily dime and for once I agree with Hollinger

Hawks offense is a split personality....it's either move the ball, rotate, get easy shots- in other words a fluid offense. But it too often degrades into Joe Johnson in isolation running the shot clock down and then taking a difficult shot. I think that's a fine offense to run- IF you have a decided advantage...like obviously in the playoffs Ray Allen could not guard Johnson at all, so sure run that iso play into the ground. But most NBA defenders are not that poor, and Johnson really isn't MJ

interested in seeing how the Griz close out this game at portland

up 1 with 7:30 to go
still holding strong on my playoff prediction

refs totally cheating memphis, juwan howard is basically holding marc gasol every play, memphis alredy over the limit, every call going to portland
mayo and randolph have been huge
have to hold their composure here

randolph has played great actually...something like 8 straight 20-10 games. that's huge

and god mayo is a stud...just hit a huge 3. they're down 4 now with 5 min to go, portland is throwing the kitchen sink at them right now. great game

i hate you. I'm still not sold on them in the playoffs but in my defense i only get to see national games. Seems like it'll be them, houston, utah, oklahoma city for the last 2 spots. I still like houston the most out of those teams

oklahoma city is a possibility...not sure how much better durant can play

you may have a point with houston, they obviously have a boring grind it out style but it works they're really tough defensively. i'm surprised but the ariza signing seems to be working out well.

i think durant's doin everything he can. He really seems to be making a leap. Green needs to play better and more consistent, in general they need more from their front court it seems. If i had to say now i say jazz and houston leave the thunder and memphis wishing they played in the east. I also am not discounting the clippers depending on how much blake can give them

I agree about durant and that's why i think bottom line they'll just miss the playoffs. like you said, not sure how much better durant can play. westbrook has been pretty good. in order to get to the playoffs they'd need more from green, harden and everyone else.

im not buying the clipper show, and while i haven't really seen enough of houston to have a solid opinion of them, i have seen the jazz quite a bit and they just seem really off this year. it's just hard to imagine a sloan team not making the playoffs. i just can't say it.

i can see if it still works but i'm pretty sure i used it to watch a day game when i was at work last year or something

yeah you did. That was awesome. I could do that but i'll have to buy a laptop and pay for internet, like 30 a month. I'm trying to work on that anyway. Hopefully i'll get it setup for the stretch run after the all star break
