My gut feeling is Mac is being a little selfish on this one. You deserve a night out with the guys or a weekend. It's why I ask if I'm welcome at board meetings or if I can sit with you guys because I don't want my presence to bother anybody. I respect that Mac is not very woman friendly however I think you bring a lot of it on yourself. You choose to act in a different manner when women are around which is a departure from your normal behavior of being yourself. It's nice in the sense you are respectful of them but it defeats the purpose if it makes you uncomfortable or grumpy. You think you should act a certain way and that is very nice but you don't really want to.

I think you have said you split time with your kids with your ex-wife. You and Sherri get a lot of time to yourselves and dates. If these other guys you are going with have kids but don't have shared custody then maybe they would like to use this going to see Doug's band as a date night out. As a friend I would support that and welcome that for them. JMO.

I will be bringing my wife,she could use a night out as well. If this offends anyone sorry bout it. I actually enjoy hanging with my wife,that's kinda why I married her. We could easily find something else to do but that would be unfair to doug. I also invited two other couples ,not sure if they will make it,but I figured the more the merrier. Oops guess I fucked up. Sorry Danmanaa. I will try to better next time..
