It would be great if you are right again this week but I'm not so sure. Minnesota's run D is pretty good. I don't think TJ will be over 125 yards. Here is to hoping I'm wrong.

Prediction: refs will have a hard-on for the bears, penalizing them no less than three times for unnecessary roughness in the first half. Oh, wait, that's not a prediction, it's what happened.

Je-sus those false starts need to stop. You're killing me, smalls.

The officiating has not been the best but our offensive line needs to take some of the pressure off Rex. There is no excuse for that.

The Bears have been sloppy - they have 9, 10 flags already against them. Poor clock management too right before the end of the half cost them a chance at tying them up. Moose made a good point that Moose needed to get done right away on the catch since he couldn't get out of bounded quick enough.

One thing that I have noticed is that Brad Childress and Tony Richardson were interviewed in the paper this morning talking about the quality individuals that the Vikings have. For a bunch of quality individuals, they sure have alot of shit talkers.

The running game sucks. We have been horrible on third and short the year. Is it the line or the back? Turner is a little pass happy so far, reminds me of the Carolina playoff game.

It would have been nice if we made some tackles too.

I think the running game has stunk too. I'm not sure why. Benson and Jones run into their line a couple times a game.

All around sloppy game, even though they may win.

Rex redeemed himself, but a lucky win nonetheless. Rex should have had two INT's returned for TD's.

Running game is in shambles so far, my head about exploded from all the missed tackles....but it was a win, and I'll take it. Grossman had a par to sub-par game, but he showed some tremendous poise I thought.

Anyway....

Bears are 3-0 and that's what matters in the end.

I'm with ya Nas. The whole game I was screaming, "Where the f*ck is Benson!" You spent a fucking high draft pick on him, now stop the goddamn childish political bullshit, and play him.

Memo to Devin Hester:

Hey dumbass,

If we wanted a guy fielding punts inside the 10 yard line, we wouldn't have cut Bobby fuckin' Gray!

As we have seen, Lovie will make a move when its warrented. Benson must not be liooking good in practice.
I was yelling the same thing A&X.

This is why I never really liked Jones. He spends almost as much time going side to side as he does running forward. I don't know why they didn't play Benson today. His straight ahead style is what they needed to beat that pressure up the middle.

When did Jones become James Allen?

I can't blame Jones for the only reason this running game has gone south. They are not opening holes and the defenses are still not really believing that Rex is for real by making sure they have one additional man at the point of attack. The only time I really saw the Vikings without 8 in the box was on that 20 yard run later in the game by Jones. The thing that I didn't like about Jones was that he was tentative hitting the holes. Too much dancing for my taste.

Maybe the holes are there but by the time Mr Happyfeet makes a decision the lane is clogged. All I know is that if the running game continues to be bad the Bears will eventually struggle.

Very sloppily played game, but this is one of those wins we'll be thankful for in December.

i'm not in the city, and will not be able to listen to the score the next few days, but i sincerely hope that people will use this game as a demonstration of TJ's lack of running power.

it seems like every week, we get into 3rd and short situations and we put jones out there and he dances and cant get the short yardage...i remember the same issues last year.

i hope they give benson a chance next week so we can at least see what he's capable of. maybe he sucks too! but i'd at least like to see him, since jones has done nothing to impress this year.

My complaint is with Lovie and his two boneheaded challenges. The lost time out on the failed challenge in the first half cost the Bears a field goal try. Thankfully it turned out not to matter but since they had already burned a timeout they should have used that challenge more carefully.
