In 2010, I predict:

1) Jake Peavy will spend at least a month on the DL ( he has in each of the last 3 seasons)
2) Alex Rio's will hit under .280 with less than 20 Homers
3) Carlos Quentin will be an All-Star
4) The Sox will win 87 games and contend in, if not win the AL Central
5) Juan Pierre will NOT be a fan favorite and may be a platoon player by the All-Star break, but will help win games with his base-stealing and bunting abilities, that Ozzie will put to good use.
6)Floyd and Danks will have stellar seasons in 2010 and lead the team in wins-NOT Peavy or Buehrle.

You are crazy if you think both of these are going to happen.

Sox win the division by 2 games over the Twins.

Beckham struggles out of the gate, but rebounds for a pretty strong year. .285 avg 22 HRs 80 RBIs

Quentin has a rebound year.

Danks leads the staff in victories.

would of said the same thing about Carlos Quentin 2yrs ago when they won the divsion wouldn't you of :?: :?: :?:

the first four in their rotation compared to the rest of the divsion is like night and day...so yes the can walk away with the divsion the way the cards are on the tabel right now

My only prediction is ES will say idiotic stuff in the Sox forum all year and be right 10% of the time and then will act like he's Nostradamus.

Not at all. I don't think anybody expected him to have a 40-100 season, but he was a #1 pick and one of the highest touted prospects in the DBack's organization. Plus, he was slugger in the minors. Beckham has never been a true slugger and should not be hitting 3rd.

There's a few 4A guys on the Sox(s). Peavy ain't one of them.

Prediction: Ozzie threatens to quit after the season after a May loss to the Twins and also compliments the Piranha's on how they have adapted to playing outdoors. A disussion ensues on the board on the merits of firing Greg Walker

I wouldn't call that a prediction. I'd call it a guarantee.

Elmhurst Steve will continue to type stupid things in this section and say he predicted everything that happens at the end of the season. He will also still be a raving asshole and a racist POS.

The American League Central is very, very winnable in my opinion on the whole, and I think the White Sox will be neck & neck with the Twins for the title in this division. I have 2 predictions about Gordon Beckham. He'll be even better at second base than he was at third. I predict a .300 BA, 25 HR's & 94 RBI's for #15 in silver & black. I also predict that Beckham will occasionally lead off vs. tough lefties much like a certain Red Sox who also wears #15, Dustin Pedroia.
