Anyone that bothers to go to this glorified "open mike night" gets what they deserve-lousy music....There is a reason these guys are not getting paid/there is no cover charge-they just aren't any good. Why do you think Frank says he's gonna play little known cover songs??..Because then, it's harder to know just how badly he's playing them! Oh, and he's going accoustic?? God save the poor souls that bother to go. Good artists/bands perform at nice places (this one is a dive) and they get paid, so you have to pay a cover charge. Those who go to this suckfest, will quickly discover why there was no cover charge. (Darkside)-you driving all the way from McHenry to prove how lousy you are too??? We all do things for fun, hell I'm doing THIS for my own amusement...but to lead people to believe that they are going to hear something worthwhile at the Gallery Cabaret tonight, is just false advertisement. People who have relatives and friends who can't say no, go to open mike nights. Anyone else, should really spare themselves the agony.
