I agree. This year is not off to a rousing start. The B story line with Starbuck is awful.

IIRC "Hours 5 & 6" :| have always been pretty slow.

I take it the way this thread has died is pretty indicative of people's thoughts on the show...I'm watching last night's episode now and it's teh suck...this blonde and her ex boyfriend need to go away now...

I should wait until the episode is over to make such foolish statements...

Exactly, I was just thinking wow, things are getting excessively boring on this show, when all of a sudden, Renee goes bonkers. I wondered why Jack was being so timid in regards to her being on this mission, but I guess (again) he was proven right.

But the other subplot just continues to disappoint in the most lame way. Man I really hope they know where they're going with it.

I watched it last night and thought the same thing. If someone inside CTU is a mole and shot that bitch, I would applaud the move. It's just a horrible storyline in so many ways.

I think this is there way of getting around the whole "There is a mole in CTU" thing, which they really can't do again. But I agree, this needs to stop. Am I supposed to care about her character? 'Cause there doing a horrible job if that's the case...

I think it's just really lazy writing. They could of have done something much better that would have forced this girl to help out the ex. This is up there with Wolves (or whatever animal it was) chasing Kim around for a few episodes. Very bad!

Jack taking the knife out of his belly and throwing through that russians neck has been the highlight of the season so far.

That was pretty good.

Jack's got a little Soap MacTavish in him...

Man, kill of Jack already. And do away with the romantic connections they are tired. Especially the one w/ the blond at CTU.

I'm beginning to wish they would have killed Jack off at the end of last year...this whole subplot with the blonde and her ex-boyfriend is damn near making me PTFB.

I agree. This is going from bad, and skipping right past fun bad, and becoming just plain god awful.

So not Mr. GQ-my-fiancee-is-a-thief CTU guy, but the other new one that they spend a lot of short camera shots on ... is he a traitor, or is he "taking over" (if they feel like it someday) for Jack when this year ends?

I'm not sure who you are talking about...are you talking about the kid who looked like he was going to piss himself as he walked the guy with the bomb through the hospital?

If that happened, I'd be done.

That's exactly what I was thinking when he showed up.

Have you seen my stapler?

Yes, him. He is very conspicuous when he is on the screen, even if he's just meandering about CTU or walking around with a guy w/ a C4 vest who used to be a closet fruit teenage character on some failed FOX show years ago.

It woudn't be surprising. They have given him a bigger role of late, and it's not a 24 season without a mole who tries to destroy CTU headquarters.

I'm guessing that happens at 3:52 or whatever they were pimping during the preview of next week...seeing Bubba run down the stairs yelling security was special...

Decent episode last night. I thought the twist was going to be the blonde chick at CTU offing herself to get out of the predicament she was in. She was acting pretty weird before the car with the bomb showed up.

Yea I liked the episode last night. I'm hoping that they kill her character off in a brutal and ironic way

If that chick blows her own head off I will celebrate.

Im really not enjoying this season at all. The car bomb ending really left me with a bad taste in my mouth also. Why would CTU let the daughter drive all the way in to CTU unescorted? You would think they would meet up with her because she is being "chased" by terrorists and bring her in with an armored vehicle. They would be able to protect her much better. And why would the terrorists risk everything over the chance that CTU lets her drive the car into their headquarters? If she doesn't drive the car inside, their plan is fucked. Bad writing.

Every time I see her on screen I get ticked off that they are wasting the ass-kicking Starbuck as a weak, weepy, annoying half-wit.

Good point indeed.

Jack is never wrong. That's annoying 2. I heard NBC is buying 24 from Fox. Hope they kill Jack off, someone has to do it.

That ending was bullshit...

...I don't recall any of the terrorists getting 15 kills this season...
